Cool, couldn't remember which one it was from, as I didn't hear about it until Free Fall was released.  Fish Fall should still be available for you image

sweet, oh BTW I might as well post Sunday Funday beaten as well:

Unfortunately I'm not good at singing, so the third "minigame" on the cart which is Karaoke "4 Him: The RIde" will have to be taken care of by someone other than me image
  • Sunday Funday is a game on Sunday Funday? Damn dude, you'd think Wisdom Tree would've given it a different name or something image Anyway, 2/3 games off the cart is nothing to complain about image
  • Currently working on Air Fortress, but I have a question... do I have to beat both quests?
  • The general guideline I use is whether both quests have to be done in one sitting or not. If you can save (Zelda) or use a password (GI Joe) and the ending is only slightly different, then no, but if you have to do multiple quests to get the real ending every time you power it up (Ghosts & Goblins, Arkista's Ring), then yes you do.
  • Well the quests are supposedly almost the same, but I wouldn't mind doing it twice.

Also interesting note: The gamefaq maps for air fortress seem to be misguiding. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but the gif maps by StarFighter76 seem to take the longest route possible to escape, and in some cases the escape route marked on the map is impossible due to time/difficulty restraints. They should really get that fixed!
  • Well, I made it to World 5-1 in 3D WorldRunner today, which is the furthest I've ever gotten in the game. I sat down determined to grind my way through it in one afternoon, but I really spent more time grinding my teeth than anything else. Another day, perhaps.
  • finaly, I beat castle of deciet. and it only took about 90 lives..image

  • Yay! I can contribute one finally!

Most times I beat a game and check to see someone beat me to it.

    Attack of The Killer Tomatoes!

Possibly THE shittiest NES game I've sat through. bad controls, super short, no challenge, 1? boss.

Theres a boss at the end of the first "level" I guess. I say level because its literally like 20 seconds long. The stages are unnumbered and the only real challenge is the mazes, which are simple trial and error regardless.
There is a tomato machine boss thing, which is challenging, but only in its cheapness. Once only 1 canon is shooting tomatos its almost impossible to damage it without taking multiple hits. Then the game teases you with a fake ending. Your thinking, ending? I thought this was level 4???
Oh the suspense! Then you have to travel through a maze inside a tomato. Same basic 4 types of enemies, no challenge.
This game sucks, really, really sucks.
It is a steaming loaf in the NES library.
It doesnt even have the redeeming value or charm some so called shitty games have.
I'm like Wiz, I enjoy a crap game like Total Recall, but this game seriously blows the fattest erection.

    Ikari Warriors is done... -_-

I hope Ikari Warriors II levels are MUCH shorter than the ones in this one were. -_-
  • I wanted to be the first to say congrats! I hate this game!
  • So, what constitutes "beating" Wario's Woods?
I completed A and B modes up til it says the end after stage 99 (epic Wario battle on B type)
then it rolls right into 100 which I just don't feel like doing.
Also, there's Time Attack mode that I'll never get all "Gold" ranks on.
    Thoughts?
  • Congrats on beating Ikari Warriors, Bea. I don't have the patience to sit down and play that game on a regular basis. The levels are too damn long.
  • Herb, I kind of like Killer Tomatoes...then again, you know me, I like Conan image

Bea, I just gotta say DAYUM!!! Anyway, Ikari II's levels are indeed shorter, however the ABBA code only works a limited number of times on the final boss, whereas it's unlimited through the rest of the game. Means you gotta get good at that boss fight image

Puffy, it's listed in AdamL's guide:

    WARIO'S WOODS (Nintendo)

-In Round Game A there are 99 Rounds. When you finish Round 99 you exit the

round and are greeted by a huge Wario. He threatens you, but then deflates

down to regular size. He then runs off, flies off in a plane and crashes into

a tree as Toad looks up at him. THE END appears and then the credits roll.

You then get taken to Round 100. You can keep playing and the Rounds just

keep coming but you don't get any more ending sequences. Once you hit Round

256 and finish it you will just keep playing Round 256. So finishing Round

Game A would best be defined as finishing Round 99.

-In Round Game B there are also 99 Rounds. The difference between Round Game

A and Game B are that there are bosses starting at Round 9 and at every 10

Rounds after that. When you get to Round 99 you will finally face off against

Wario for the last time. Defeat him by exploding bombs on a path that ends at

him. When you finally knock all 24 units of energy from him the coins will

drop from the ceiling like in the other levels and then you can exit this

round. Like in Game B you are greeted by a huge Wario here who says you

haven't won yet and that he is becoming bigger and stronger. Eventually he

blows up and goes back to regular size. You then get the same ending you got

in Round Game A. After the credits you go on to Round 100 like in Round Game

A, but even if you keep beating levels you don't get any more endings and it

will eventually just keep repeating Round 256 if you make it there.

-In the Time Race competition you try to get a Gold Medal in different

categories by finishing screens as fast as possible. There are 3 columns,

Easy, Normal and Hard. Each column has 4 sections, with each section having

2, 3, 4 and 5 screens apiece. When you get the best times in all 4 sections

of a column you will get a Gold Medal (you can also get Silver and Bronze for

not as fast times). If you can get all 3 Gold Medals it will say so on your

Technical Rank Certification. That should be your goal here. You do not get

any kind of an ending for getting all 3 Gold Medals, but since this is part

of the game I consider this as conquering it. You simply go back to the Game

    Mode Select screen.

So there's no ending for Time Attack mode, but you should probably still get all the golds on it to call it beaten...however, I can still mark it as 2/3 modes if you'd like, or you can attempt it a few more times before I mark anything. Your choice.
  • Well, that's much better than at Ikari I, where ABBA code didn't work at the end of stage 3 nor at the final boss. image

Meh, call it 2/3 for now, I suppose.
Maybe somebody else can get the Golds

Beat Daydreamin' Davey (somehow) a month or so ago, so, check that off
  • Well, I marked it like I mark games with multiple modes - I called it beat and marked what you did. If someone else gets all the golds, they can claim a point for the rankings, but for the purpose of the list it's done.
  • You can cross off Simpsons: Bart Meets Radoiactive Man
  • Looks like someone already got Tennis, but The Immortal is down as well. I'm behind a couple of reviews on my blog, but I have in fact finished it.
  • Got 'em image Crabby, you planning on doing Space Mutants as well? Got you down on the other two Simpsons games, and they all play pretty much the same image

I might give it a go. I find space mutants a lot harder than the other two, but it would be nice to finally cross it off my list. After I finish playing Paper Mario if it is still not completed I'll definately give it a solid attempt.
  • It's definitely the toughest of the three, but it's definitely doable. I haven't played in years but I remember getting half-way through the museum level without putting too much effort into it.
  • Maybe I just give up to easily then. I beat the other two as a kid so they are very notalgic for me, but I dont have that same feeling driving me when playing Space Mutants.
  • LOL I had a buddy who owned Space Mutants, and I borrowed the crap out of it. Bart vs the World I found was okay, but was way easier. Radioactive Man I remember renting once, and just not enjoying it all that much.

Ikari II last boss was annoying, but this game is much faster and easier than Ikari 1. image And yes, the picture is blurry.

    image

Eh... Ikari III is far easier than I and II. image

And that settles the Ikari trilogy. Now to find something else to play while I wait for my Gauntlet cart to get here. image
  • Too lazy to read all this. Anyone doing Magic of Sheherazde? If not I'll give it a try.
  • Awesome Bea image And JBO, it's still up, but I've got a point that we're not gonna have people calling games. You can say what you're planning on playing through, but I don't like the idea of having everyone pick a game to play through or all the games people want to play are gonna get knocked off quicker than they already did. Surprised Scheherazade is still on the list though, it's such a wicked game!
  • Yeah, I see where you are coming from. I just didn't want to waste my time starting it though, if someone else was already half way through.
