    I witnessed the screen, no Pi...not that I give a shit, but that's not how it was determined. Still, pretty lame imo.

    Pretty sure Dain did this manually, about 2 or 3 minutes before the counter expired. You had to be logged in at this time.

    Can I just say thank you to all involved. That was the most fun I have had on April Fools. Will we get a list of all involved. Also are you going to provide the Ezine to those who don't figure it out? It's a pretty good read this month.



    Sorry if I caused anyone dismay, but I was pretty sure it was a prank, and I just wanted to have some fun as well.

    I wrote a database script to add the PI icon to anyone that had logged in since 3pm, up to 3:14:15pm. So in other words, if you visited the site after 3, but before 3:14, you got the icon (94 users). The irony is that immediately after re-opening the site, we had 115 people on.

    I saw the counter about 45 minutes out and I knew you were up to something, Dain. I had no idea what, of course... but you guys DID fool me by publishing the e-zine on time. I didn't dig far enough to find the actual zine at first, thinking "aha, I knew this was going to be a fake!".  image
