Not too long ago I acquired a couple of old NES controllers. Sometimes the buttons on these don't connect. Is it possible to take these apart and actually replace the components on the inside?
yes you can, usually the rubber buttons underneath get torn from overuse, you can replace them from other nes controllers. I have done this many times.
