Super Mario World CIB

After some searching on completed listings, I wasn't able to find any recent sales or ongoing sales of a Super Mario World CIB, or more importantly, box. I know that there are some VGA graded SMW that aren't player's choice, but what's the going rate on a CIB that's not a player's choice? Any different? Of the few listings I saw, it seems like a Player's Choice is anywhere from $30-70ish (I think I only saw two current BINs)

I ask because I've got the majority of SNES carts I want and enjoy (small amount...maybe 30), I was thinking it would be fun to try and complete them. Keyword TRY.

Any help?

  • It varies depending on who's buying and who's selling. I've seen them sell CIB for as low as $40 and as high as $120, despite being in similar conditions.
  • Great shape - $70

    Good shape - $50
  • I watched for a minty non pc version complete for a while and snagged one for 49.99 bin after about 6 months of waiting. That was the highest I wanted to spend on one. They usually go for more then that though.
  • i am glad i found one at a garage sale last year for $2

i haven't seen one in the wild since

  • The SMW box is a stone bitch to find, nevermind the non-Player's Choice version. It's just not many people realize HOW hard it is to find it, so the range on prices is pretty wide.

Yeah, that's what I figured. I love how simple the box art is. This is definitely one of my favorites, so hopefully I get lucky.

    Thanks everyone.
  • Tuxedo hit it on the head. These almost never go for under 50, but a very nice one can go for upwards of 70 actually. I'd say one today would go for 100 or so seeing that none have come up in awhile.
  • I managed to get one for $40 in great shape, but that is as low as I have seen one go for on eBay.  I think Wookieehooky got the one I posted in the Good Buy It Now auction thread shortly after I got mine.

One currently on eBay $44.50 BIN

I wouldn't call that one "good" shape though. Depends if you care about damage. I actually sold one for $30 a few months ago, but, it was pretty rough. Actually really rough.
