Good SNES lot.... but

I can get my hands on EVO, Earthbound, FF3, Mario RPG, Castlevania Dracula X.  All are Cart only.  Here's the kicker, none of them have labels.  Being a new collector and a gamer at heart I am tempted to take them off the guys hands.  I figure for the games that I really like IE Evo I will upgrade to CIB eventually, but I can get these to play for now.  He hasn't given me a price yet...  He just sent me an email confirming I knew that they had no labels.

FYI they all work and can be tested to ensure they are the games he says prior to purchase.

Here's my question..  What would you pay MAX for these in this condition?

  • It's really hard to say. I personally would never buy a cart without a sticker. I would imagine they are worth about half the value of cart only.
  • Maybe even less than half. I'd personally only pay 50-60 tops for that lot sans labels. Unless you can get quality labels printed up and resell them at a flea market....
  • Tough call. I personally wouldn't get them because even though I would play all of them, the collector in me would still want a copy I could show off. Unless the games are averaging out to be $5-$10 at MOST, I personally wouldn't. It'd just be kind of a waste to me to spend $20 for a game on top of having to pay anywhere from $50-70 for it again, just for the cart. But if you really want to play them and that's all you care about at the moment, if it's the right price it's a good way to get some gameplay in.
  • I'm pretty sure there was an Earthbound with a totally messed up label on Ebay for the awhile and it finally sold for $25. I wouldn't pay more than $10 each.
  • k thanks, I'm going to throw him an offer of $50 for the lot and see what happens.
  • Pray for them to be prototypes and you've struck gold.
  • Carts with no labels is just, ewwww.
  • i would buy them as dirt cheap as possible then get labels printed from gamereproductions.com for like $3 each and call it a day.
