Selling collection, how to go about it?

So I have finally come to the decision that my collection is too big and taking up too much room in my house, I have about 500 NES games, my question is, would i be better off selling as a huge no duplicate lot, or selling them individually?

k, that's kinda what i thought. what about lots of commons, do commons sell better in lots or individually.

even with commons if you sell them in lots you'll make less but you'll get rid of them quicker. i would sell the commons in lots though, because you wont make much profit off them anyway. sucks you gotta sell some of your collection.

If you have a few spare systems, you could sell some commons bundled with a system on ebay. They usually sell pretty good.

I have tons of extra systems, i'll have to test them to see which ones work, I'm keeping at least one of all my rare games, and some of the ones with great replay value.

I think its best to sell as one lot, as I stated before. The rares will even out the commons - collectors will want to buy lots to complete their collections faster.



Either way will work IMO. If you sell individually though, just realize shipping gets padded in the value of the item.

Id say your best bet is to sell me all of your rare games for really cheap, then try to re-coup your losses by selling the commons for like 400% mark up. Yeah.... thats the ticket!

I am in the middle of typing out a list of my games, sadly I just found out that I have closer to 300 than 500 games I'm not sure if i have more elsewhere, or what, I will have the list up in afew hours.

any qoutes on what this is worth as a lot? carts range from Mint to afew with torn labels, I'd say 25-30% have bnlack marker on them which comes off easily with a magic eraser.
