Barter Question?

This guy on craigslist want to trade me a JVC X'EYE and a FC Mobile for my guitar and amp.  I wanted to get at least $125 for my guitar and amp.

I have never had and know nothing about the JVC, but I do collect and enjoy sega games also. Plus, I haven't really heard much about the FC mobile.

So what can you guys tell me about these two systems and if it would be worth what I want for my guitar?

Comments

  • jvc xeye is a decent system so long as it is working worth about 60-75 bucks imo
  • i would say the same about the jvc xeye around 65
  • X'eye with generic Genesis controller and standard AV cable Id say $50. If it has the original JVC branded controller and the official JVC RF cable/adaptor thingy then Id saay up to $75 as that is the rarer part of the bunch.
  • I've been watching the xeyes on ebay and 2 have sold under $40 over the last few months. I was kicking myself for not bidding on one of them, but I've decided to wait for a cheap cdx instead. The FC mobile is a decent little system but it's cheap 3rd party hardware prone to issues. I don't know what kind of guitar and amp you're trading him, but it sounds like your getting the worst of it.

EDIT: By the way, the nice feature the xeye offers is quality sound. It has better sound than any version of the genesis or sega cd. It was actually marketed as a game system/karaoke machine.
  • pretty much the X'Eye is worth $75 MAX. Thats super mint and with ALL original accy as I mentioned. And FC MObile II is onyl $50 new so...you would barely be getting what you want for your guitar and amp so I'd prolly just sell them and buy the other stuff outright.
  • I'm holding out for other offers, they're starting to fly in now for some reason. Got like 5 offers in the last 20 minutes or so.
  • What kind of guitar and amp is it?
  • B.C. Rich Warlock and a Line 6 Spider III amp.
  • Is it a warlock with widow headstock or is it the one in the beginner pack? If its not the beginner one i may be interested let me know.
  • Yep, widow headstock. Couple small chips out of the headstock though.
