So I visited My Grandmas today..... :)

I was sitting on the couch When I remembered playing alot of games their when I was younger....
Upstairs I think it was in a room unoccupied and full of boxes and colthes and such....
In the back corner I believe it was also....
SCORE!!!!!!!!!

NES, SNES SYSTEMS with games, controllers, hookups.

Now I wonder if grandma will care if i take this big box home?
Grandma Can I take this stuff home, Yeah you can have it.
Well that was easy.

2 systems all hookups, 7 controllers, 32 games.

Childhood memories PRICELESS.

these are games and systems that i cannot get rid of or sell.
i will pass these on to my kids.

Just wanted to share this story.

  • Sweet! My cousins and I would always visit my grandma's house at the beach and we sort of had a family collection of about 60 games up there. I wish I knew what happened to it. Pretty sure my cousins had it but they might have got rid of it.
  • That's cool man, I wish I still had some of my childhood stuff, I would always have to sell one system to upgrade to the next release.
  • thats how we did at our house growing up. im glad my grandma didnt do the same lol
  • I still have my original Genesis and NES and all the games from when I was a kid. Like you, I will never sell or get rid of these. I threw some of my old stuff out years ago and today I regret those decisions.
  • Awesome man!
  • thats sick, i had a similar deal with my grandmother having the nes at her house and me and my cousins would always go over and play it. if grandma ever wants to get rid of it, im first in line. although we only had about 10 or so games for it.
  • That's cool, can't put a price on your memories!
  • I just assumed you were using the metaphoric visiting grandma as played out in Sex Drive ... good stuff nonetheless
  • Can't sell it, huh........want to give it to your kids..........I'll give you 1 million dollars for the box!

Bet you'd get rid of it if I wasn't joking! Ha

  • Cool find! It was just the oposite with my Grandma, I had to pry the controller out of here hands, lol. She was addicted to Galaga and Zelda. I remember when she lived with us as a child I would come home to find her play my NES, all the freakin' time! Man I miss her.
  • Awesome, I also have fond memories of playing Atari, NES, and SNES with my cousins at my Grandparents' house.
  • thats cool, so what were the games you got?
  • wow great image all we did was watch tv at my gramps.. and that tv sucks image
  • Cool story! I wonder if my aunt still has her NES ... I remember playing it there a few times when I was younger.
  • I love finds like this. NEVER EVER sell it. Very cool and wish I could have my original nes back. Of course it was sold. I can't even remember all the games I had, just a few.
