craiglist lot

So i recently just got into collecting, I've only been collecting for 3 weeks and already managed to get 63 NES carts while is what I would primarily like to collect. I gotta admit it's really fun tracking down a old game. Anways I'm finding myself looking to collect lots of other retro stuff so, below is a lot of stuff I found on craigslist. What would you guys offer for it;

  • I would ask him for a list of the games and what offers he has recieved and then go from there. The fact that he mentions collector's is a red flag that he is going to try to sell them for more then they are worth.

    I wouldn't believe anyone telling me what other people's offers have been. Regarding the collectors thing, maybe he was a collector who wants to make sure his stuff will be in good hands? I just got an excellent deal from a kid with a massive Atari/Intellivision II lot because he wanted to see his stuff go to someone who would appreciate it as much as he did. I think the fact that the seller in this ad referred to the quantity of his items as a 'closet full' is more telling than his mention of collectors.

    Definitely ask for the game titles since he's willing to tell you. Were it me, I'd make an opening offer that is somewhat lower than what they're expecting but tell them that that's just a guaranteed price that will never decrease. Also, tell them that you'll increase the offer upon pick up when you have a chance to see the condition of everything for yourself. I've been doing this for months now and more often than not I always get what I want at a price I'm more than willing to pay.

  • So recently I found another post for the following games below. About a week ago I told him I was interested depending on the price, well he was pricing them a still hasn't had any luck so he drop the price to $5. I'm wondering if I could make a reasonable offer and get them for cheap, anyways here's the games.
