Actually it is rare. You can check rarity by doing a search for the game in the game search window in the upper left corner of the screen. There are quite a few "less rare" titles that sell for quite a bit more. Gun+Nac is actually really under-priced IMO. You might get lucky and find someone here on NA willing to part with a cart for a reasonable price. Otherwise, just keep your eyes peeled on eBay. I was able to get a cart off eBay a couple months ago for $20, but it didn't have a picture so I had to kind of roll the dice a bit.
Love this game and it's definitly worht it. I was lucky and found one at a video store selling out there nes stuff and got it for $4. The only reason i bought it was because it had a spaceship shooting carrots with it's guns. it seemed like it had to be a brilliant game.

Definitely a great game with awesome upgrades. A bit on the easy side though.
Put it on the hardest setting with ricocheting bullets and the game is far from easy.

I agree that's the only way to play and it becomes such an intense game
