You may find one that says New for $7.99 and then when you click on the game, the $7.99 says "perfect condition". How the heck to you know if it is really new or does perfect condition just mean mint cart?

Amazon is a lot like gambling, I only use it when its a great deal. I've been nabbed badly, but times like this make up for it.

No, NGD found some boxes without the holes where no troll was included. These are apparently much more scarce than the normal Troll-included version.
They're hard to spot in auctions because the pebbles on the sand look like holes Gotta know where to look.

I already stated the troll is virtually worthless on its own. It's just a cheap toy that was available in pretty much any dollar store back in the day. I'm sure adding it to the lot would improve value somewhat but the value is not in the toy, like it is with the Monster in my Pocket CIB.

All it is is an older style troll pencil topper. The ones they make now look a little different, but if you find an older one, they're the exact same troll that was used on the NES game.
