How about: "Hokkaido Rensa Satsujin: Ohotsuku ni kiyu" (aka Hokkaido Serial Murders: Fade to Okhotsk) - Would really like to see that one's manual in particular.
I sadly don't own this game, but I was really close to buy it a couple of times in the past. I'll see if I can find a copy and I will add the review and manual when I do
I don't own these games, sorry. But I will definitively add them to the site as soon as I find them...
Magical Pop'n is a game I've been looking for a loooong while... but it always come with a crazy-high price tag. Collecting video games has taught me one thing though - patience. One day I'll find an affordable copy, one day
I've been posting PDFs of Japanese Famicom/Super Famicon manuals on my site for sometime but only realized today that this may be of interest to people here... I'm posting new updates on a weekly basis and here're some of the latest games :
Do not hesitate to let me know if there's a particular game you'd like to see the manual for, and I'll try to upload it to the site (as long as I've already reviewed it)
I'm looking for any of the following manuals (as PDFs would be great):
Arabian Nights: Sabaku no Seirei Ou -- High Priority on this one as I'm looking to get it translated for the reproduction community as the game is a very solid RPG. If you don't have it but know someone that does, I may be interested in paying for even a scan of it (provided the scan is high quality).
Nekketsu Tariku: Burning Heroes - Fantastic Enix RPG that NEEDS a translated manual for us English folks. If I can get a scan of this, I shall make it happen!
Romancing Saga 1, 2, 3 - I'd like PDF scans of the manuals for all of these Square SFC games too.
Lennus - Manual
Wonder Project J - Manual for this as well would be great!
Holy Umbrella: Dondera's Wild - Manual
There's others but those are the highest on my list of stuff I'm looking to get translated.
I don't have Tiny Toon Adventures for the Famicom, but I have it for the Super Famicom! I'll definitively add the review to my to-do list and upload it soon (with manual).
My copy of Area 88 sadly didn't come with a manual, but as soon as I find another one, I'll upload the manual for you. I've added Batman Returns and Super Mario World to my to-do list, I'll have them available soon! I'll also try to add Super Mario Collection as well
I only have Wonder Project J from your list, but I'll upload it to the site for you soon
It'd be amazing to translate these manuals for the community !!! Doing actual translations is a lot of work, I wish you all the best in your project. We need to get these awesome games better known for sure !!!!
Highest/sharpest scan you can provide possible would be mucho appreciated! It's on my list for sure as it's an Enix game.
I contacted a few Japanese Retro Gaming sites/ebay sellers... Arabian Nights, Magical Pop'n, King of Demons, Do Re Mi Fantasy, Gourmet Sentai, Shin Nekketsu Kouha: Kunio-tachi no Banka (river city ransom-esque SNES game) + Shodai Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-kun (another river city ransom-esque game) ... are all either so friggen expensive or rare that my only hope is someone pointing me to a manual somewhere (or hooking me up with a scan).
Of course I COULD write my own versions of these games' manuals using available walkthroughs/online resources....
This is great! I actually don't own these games, so I'll definitively look at your scans. I personally love Japanese manuals, especially from that time period. They are awesome!
