I know! I was like OMFG! Some people think only Mario and Zelda games are rare and worth monies.
It's funny how people think that way, considering Mario and Zelda games are some of the most common due to their popularity when they came out. Then again, some people think an NES and every game on it is a rare and valuable gem.
PS. Good score on the Power Glove, but you didn't get a great deal on the Game Boy IMO.
As for the Gameboy, I just wanted know. Price wasn't a issue because I wanted it now and not wait a few days to get it on the interweb.
i swear night's changed his avatar 2 secs ago, LOL

I made a CL items wanted ad on tuesday just saying something like "I want to buy your original nintendo or super nintendo games you may no longer want or that are taking up to much room. Why not get money and more room for stuff you don't use anyways right?"
Anywho, not more than 5 mins pass with a picture of multiple snes games, console, and a nes advantage stick. It just read "$50 for all". I couldn't really see so i sent it to my email and looked at it full screen and I got in my car, took off, and called the guy telling him i was on my way.
Heres a pic of the games I took when I got home.
Lemmings 2 is the game on the bottom left corner and contra III is the one above that. Everything was mint except super mario bros.
I got another pic message on my phone and while it was loading I had a feeling it was the same dude. When the pic showed, it showed multiple nes games, a console, and 4 snes games. Read "$60 for all". I had him a offer of $50 since I had to drive out there and he took it.
While I was about to leave, somebody texted me about my N64 and Ocarina of TIme I listed for $40 on CL. I ended up selling that and picking up the nes lot for $10 dollars.
I went to the gas station lastnight to get the newspaper to get a heads up on the yardsales. I bought a $5 dollar scratcher and when I got my change, the cashier gave me a dollar quater I never seen before. I didnt think anything of it so I just went home. I sat in the drive way and played my scratcher. I didnt hit anything and I was at the last scratch when I uncover a 10x symbol. I was eager to scratch the prize but I thought "probably a dollar at most". I uncovered $10 x 10! An extra 100 dollars in my wallet.
As I laid in bed, I was looking at the dollar the cashier gave me. I looked at the date and it was "1847" so I did the math and it was 163 years old. I was amazed on how much hands that coin must have gone through. Thats almost two lifetimes. So I did some research and its a valuable coin worth up to a grand depending on condition.
Today at the swap meet (the part you've all been waiting for).
$15 dollars got me this from a mexican.
(shitty cell phone pick. i don't collect snes or n64 so you know what the purpose of these are ;] )
I also picked these up for $5 dollars each for my PS2.
I received a email the other day from a person selling a Nintendo NES console and a four games. I don't like asking for a list because they might look them up on ebay since they are already typing it in a email anyways. They ask for a offer when I emaied back to see how much they wanted so I wrote "Well, I already have a couple of consoles but I can give you $5 each for the games and $10 for the console". I tried to sneek in with $30 but the person countered with $20 and I said fine but I'll need to check it out first.
I'm driving to the address and it does not look pretty. It was a area of town that is known for being meth central. I was a little scared thinking they lured me into a apartment so they can rob me. I get to the apartment complex that basically is a house divided into four sections and ask if their is a apartment D somewhere. The guy outside points to a open door and I thought "Shit, I'm getting set up". Two seconds later a girl and two kids walk outside with a box and I was a little relieved to see children were there so nothing violent would go down, I hope. We chat and then I get to look at the stuff and the first thing I see was DUCKTALES 2! I didnt need to look at anything else. I told her that I'll take it and gave her $20 and I was on my way. It was a win-win situation because I got myself a killer deal and she got $20 for meth.
