Whats the deal?
i've been trying to buy some NES stuff on ebay and everything that I want the seller won't ship to Canada. whats the deal with that? shipping is just about the same price as the states, theirs no extra work that goes into sending stuff here. so why the discrimination? this sucks

That said, I have problems with shipments, about 2 per month go bad. Without tracking, on some larger-ticket items, it winds up sucking hard. But I'm still "up" from all the others that go off without a hitch, so I still offer it.
And I have the act of filling out customs forms so practiced that it's quicker than lettering an envelope (since I have to be somewhat neat in order for it to get where it's going hehe).
I can't just print up a label with paypal and drop it off.
Paypal requires tracking for you to be covered.
Canada post office is one of the worst in the world. I'll get 10 emails asking where the package is. Sometimes a simple cart takes 30 days via airmail
Customs sometimes tears the stuff apart.
It doesn't matter if you say no international shipping in the auction you still get Canada bids.
Plus, like NGD said, it does get old filling out those custom forms.
I dont understand this, I am in Canada and have received nearly 100 packages. Only 1 time did I not receive the package. Only 1 time did I receive it in what I would call an obscene amount of time. (1.5 months).
Maybe it is the buyers that are morons and make calims way too quick? or complain to much while the package is in their mailbox or local post office?
just some thoughts...

All for a $5 game.
You think this seller would ever want to ship to Canada again?
This isn't an instance of sellers not wanting to go the extra mile. This is a case of a flawed system and need to be changed.
