Turtles Radical Rescue CIB

This transaction awarded me a box and manual for the gameboy game Turtles Radical Rescue. I've had this game cart since I was a young kid. I bought a gameboy and this game in Oregon during a family road trip. Of course I threw away the box and instructions, but I played it like crazy, up and down the USA west coast. Somehow I managed to keep this game with me whilst moving several times, going to college, getting married, etc. Never lost it. This item, is more important to me that anything in my Nintendo collection.

On top of all that, this box is really hard to find. It's especially hard to find living in Canada when you can't bid on nearly as much stuff. Well, technicalfoul agreed to give me his after some convincing. I know this one was important to him as well being a TMNT fan and all. But I think we worked out something good for both of us. I had to sacrifice a few spots in my collection, but this was to important to pass up. I'll fill those holes again one day.

To make things even better, technicalfoul was very easy to deal with. A class act. He was trustworthy as he didn't exaggerate any detail about the condition. What I received was exactly what I expected. He was honest about every word he said. He sent first, but I promised to send as soon as he sent without receiving first. He could have ripped me off of a lot of money. Guess what, I don't think he'd dream of such a thing.

Overall a very trushworth person. If you are thinking of buying something from him, you can personally chop of MY nuts if he screws you, because I know he won't.

Thanks Dylan, enjoy your pile of games. Thanks for joining NA. I look forward to dealing with you again sometime. Cowabunga dude!

I think I'll upgrade one day, but at least I've got it image It's near mint with a little dent on the lid and the slightest creases to the bottom back corners. Very solid and shiney. I'll gun for the next one up in auction I think, but at least I won't have to go nuts. This copy cost me enough image

EDIT - Oh ya, it also had the plastic tray, konami reg card, a poster iirc, etc. Made it extra sweet. Probably exactly how I got it when I was a kid image I'm grinin from ear to ear. Nothing in my collection will ever top this.

  • Oh wow. Thats pretty awesome looking box. It is very good to hear that there's so many honest people around here in NA. Congrats on getting one of your most memorable piece of collection. Good for you.
  • Congrats on getting a piece of your collecting/game history.

Thanks for sharing the story. image
  • very cool. great to see things like this work out on here.
  • WARNING: Despite what the box art seems to depict, a sword is not recommended to be used as a drill.
  • I LOVE that box art.. probably the better of the Turtles box art on video games.
  • Is this the only game box without ALL the turtles?

I don't think I've seen a game with a solo turtle besides this one.
  • ^ Manhatten Project is my favourite for art, but this one I'm quite fond of image

EDIT - Turtles Tournament Fighters all have only 1 turtle and 1 baddy. But each system has a different one it seems.

  • Glad you're happy with it image
  • ^ All of the Tournament Fighters have only one Turtle (Leo for NES, Don for SNES, and Raph for Genesis)
  • I just bought that game (cart) at a pawn shop in Oregon an hour ago. That sure is a sweet looking box. Congrats on the pickup
  • Just watched the gameplay and i remember that i used to play it when i was young. It is very good. This game will definitely be under my radar.

  • It's nice to find something like that for your own personal value, G.I. Joe - A Real American Hero (NES) is like that for me.... took me forever to find it. Very satisfying.

So you're telling me I need to find a female ninja who has jack-hammer-sword experience?
I'll have to get right on that! image
  • I think any ninja will do. After all they're freaking ninjas! image
  • Hell yeah dude! nice find, and that's what NA is all about! Plenty of class acts in here!
