Stuff I Found In Chicago
I just got back from Chicago and I found tons of games but I only bought very little because I found a game I can't belive I found. Most of these games I found at People Play Games, other games came from F.Y.E. and GameStop.
F.Y.E. (15$)
Sly Cooper 3: Honor Among Theives (PS2)
Game Stop (3$)
Devil May Cry (PS2)
People Play Games (102$)
IntelliVoice Add On (Intellivision
B-17 Bomber (Intellivision)
Bomb Squad (Intellivision)
Dragon Lair (Sega CD)
Lunar: Eternal Blue (Sega CD)
Jungal Book (Sega Genesis)
Sonic 3D Blast (Sega Saturn
Virtua Fighter 2 (Sega Saturn)
Comments
Yeah it is a bit much but I really want the game.
On FYE...all the ones in my area folded up due to high prices, except the one in Chattanooga. It was nice, though...I did one time buy a game at GameStop (Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles for the Gamecube) for $16.19 + tax and proceeded to sell it to FYE for $22.40. And then I walked back to GameStop (about halfway down the mall) and did the same thing again. A quick $8 or so in my pocket
Ouch, I hate F.Y.E. They really don't have that great of deals, if any at all!
I love our FYE. Its actually about an hour from here, but thats where I found my 2 factory sealed copies of The Guy Game about 3 months ago along with a bunch of other sealed older stuff. It seems like most of them are going out though. Our local one did.
Having said that, since FYE isn't the most popular place to buy games, sometimes you can find a hidden gem. I found Metroid Prime Trilogy new for retail price ($50) a full 6 months after it was discontinued.
