CGE 2010 Scores Thread
After day 1 at CGE, I thought I'd post a few scores and hope other peeps at CGE post up as well. I'll try and post pictures at some point as well.
At the auction last night, I picked up a VGA 85 Zelda II (gray seal) for $100, a CIB FlashBoy for $160 and Qixmaster found one of the last Gameboy manuals I needed and just plain gave it to me (thanks for the hookup Josh!).
I didn't buy too much yet, but might be picking up a sealed Cheetahmen II as well to get one step closer to having all the games I sold back.

Also got Maniac Mansion and Monster Truck Rally CIB signed by Dave Warhol who did the music engines and other code on them. Monster Truck Rally was the first NES game he worked on after INTV programming, and never got paid for it! He still has all his source code but its on floppies in an archive format he hasnt extracted yet.
Was going to get Tengen Super Sprint signed by Steve Woita of Atari fame but never saw him. The manual credits him as a "special thanks" but no further details.
Biggest score was meeting Dain, Uncle Tusk, qixmaster, TheRedEye, robin, and more who I am forgetting.
Highlights for me were a 9+ CB Contra Force, a Mega Man 7 cart, and a bunch of cheap Game Boy stuff.
I got to meet Bunnyboy, his wife, her sisters and some other very cool people with them. I also got to meet Zi, TheRedEye, Adam Cornelius, and also a few other I know I'm forgetting. In all, we had a great time.
Met some new peeps and some old friends. Didn't know theredeye was around but I hung out with the film crew and didn't get to see much else. Was cool to meet zi and find out he was normal. Was really rad to see his clear NES system in action at the Tetris booth. SystemFreak, DreamTR, Dain and his bro, Bunnyboy, the whole NWCGE crew (Ybot, Swlovinst, Rick, Chuck, Cory and Lee) - it was all good to see you guys again. I can't wait for Portland!
