And the fourth highest you missed the auction by seconds...
  • One day, im going to redo this list in either Open Office or Excel. I had been keeping a copy of each, but didnt always update both lists like I should. Anyway, for now, all information is in the OP.

From what we can tell, these are check digits, and most likely not a part of the sequential numbering system. This has not yet been substantiated, but most likely correct. I will update these systems.

  • Gotcha down! Im considering adding revision info to this list (ie: screen color that flashes when it doesnt read a game). Im thinking I will personally check my own consoles first to see if this is even worth pursuing
  • My Goodwill find toaster N6149251
  • Got sonic's NES down. That sounds sacrilegious, don't it?
  • Hey, I wasn't able to post in the Lowest Serial # thread, so I figured I'd post this here. I have toaster model SN N0039604. I'm not the original owner, I got it used about 2 months ago from a garage sale for $15. It came with some games including a Famicom converter Gyromite! One interesting note that I'm not sure has been mentioned, The AC and RF cords for this system are about 4 feet longer than standard adapters. It's actually the only reason I even looked at the serial! Figured the completists would be interested to know that. Special thanks to Pat1717 for pointing me towards this thread.
  • The serial number on my toaster is N1175629
  • Top Loader: NN103049296 (Got it from a friend)

Side Loading Toaster: N10947402 (Flea market)

I've got more NES systems, but they're in my storage right now. ):
  • Well, get them suckers out!! Updated
  • ^If they're not too buried, I'll grab 'em. If they are, I'm gonna have to bookmark this thread. :B
Do NES's with broken cases count? I got a mutilated one somewhere too.

Also, request for some sort of spread sheet of this, because it would be interesting to see not only alphabetical by name, but numerical to see where we all rank. :3

Edit: List needs revising, Penguin's on there twice with the same #.
  • Whoops.. Yes, I will have to update this. I do have it in Excel and Open Office, I just dont update it as often. Its kinda a pain to update it after one or two new entries, in both formats, and upload it again lol. However, I think its due now. Also, I dont see why to not include mutilated ones. One of mine I included, even though the insides are practically useless. I have no idea what had happened to it, other than it may have gone through a flood haha. It was a total mess inside!
  • Updated, in OO and MS Works
