man, this list would be sick if it were in a spreadsheet so it could be sorted by username or by serial number. id love to see if theres any consecutive numbers.
I hear you on that. When I started the thread, I did have an Excel file just for it. My PC died, so I got a laptop, but it unfortunately did not have Excel on it. It has a generic database, but alot of people couldn't read it, so I kinda gave up. If anyone else feels the urge to compile this data, go for it!
Thanks for doing this, I really appreciate it! I wasnt able to edit it though. The ones are the very top have extra spaces before the "N" or "NN". Take them out and it will alphabetize properly.
I recently picked up a toploader and noticed the S/N was really low. After going through the spreadsheet, I now have the lowest listed Top Loader.
S/N NN100004904
I dont know anything about it, bought it from a guy who bought it a few years ago.
It reads NN850095386 and the 6 is shaded a bit. For some reason, this one had a blue serial sticker on the back over the white that can clearly be seen. I'd be afraid to peel it back, given the chance that it might destroy the number that may or may not be under the blue sticker. Nonetheless, that's my top loader that I got from Goodwill last month.

Very cool! I haven't seen a factory refurbished top loader!
Here are my 2 NES Systems. They're not very old but there is a sizeable difference, enough for one to have a textured top and one to have a smooth top.

N4694306 (Doesn't work, repairing, smooth top, second owner)
