There's a lot of high dollar stuff in there. Epic score for sure.
Thanks man. I was very surprised to see the prices some of these guides were going for. There are a handful that are worth $50+ !! I have never really understood the collector's attraction to strategy guides, personally.

Agreed. I've never understood the craze and prices of them, but to each his own, right?
Popful Mail is a rare Sega CD game that I have had several time. Games is worth at time $100 now...not sure about the guide. Nice find!
I've never come across the game. The lowest guide on eBay is like $80 and it has water damage, I listed mine up at $70 - I doubt it is worth that much since it is an obscure item. If a game is rare, I have found that the strategy guides are usually rarer, so who knows.
I collect guides myself, but mostly only official Nintendo Power ones. I collect em for the nostalgia reason of video games. Back in the days before the net, if you got stuck in a game you went to a guide.
Even though gamefaqs has made most guides obsolete, there's still something about the pictures and presentation that goes into a great guide.
Nice pickup on that...reminds me of the time I scored a ton of guides from someone who was going to trade them in to a game store locally (I knew one of the guys there from elementary school, so he sent the guy my way). Ended up carrying home (literally!) a box with about 40 guides in it for $175. At that point, I literally had all but maybe three or four of the PS1 RPG guides (no Suikoden 1 guide, no Arc the Lad guide, and no Lunar 2 guide)... There was $500-$600 worth of guides in that box.
I sold most of that collection with the expansion of the NES collection in '07 and '08, unfortunately, meaning I am looking for a few guides still. However, I'm waiting on deals on those guides...I don't wanna spend $30-$50 on a guide that normally goes for that anyway.
Looks like the game has sold for all over the place in the past couple of weeks, from $35 to $95. Games are really worth whatever people are willing to pay for them, and prices fluctuate day to day. If you wait until the low ones sell out and then list it up for $95 you might get a buyer.

This. I love having the strat guides. Not only that, I can use them while sitting on my couch in front of the TV - I don't have a laptop, so I would need to get up & go over to my PC for FAQs. Guides may cost money, but the convenience is worth it.

Dude, that's amazing!! Wish I could find stuff like that around here. Any chance you'd want to sell that Dragon Warrior VII guide?
Yep, its for sale. For NA members I usually go by lowest BIN on eBay minus 15-20%.

Awesome find!!! Really interested in Suikoden 2 guide but even 20% less then BIN on ebay is way too much
I agree, most of these guides go for way too much. I gotta go by the market, though, ya know?
