First Good Finds in a While...Thank you Goodwill

So I scored a bag full of stuff from Goodwill:

PS1
Critical Depth
Mega Man 8
Clock Tower II The Struggle Within

Dreamcast
Dynamite Cop!

Sega Genesis
Pig Skin Footbrawl
Test Drive II - The Duel
Faery Tale
Wardner
Heavy Nova

NES
Amagon
Bayou Billy
Werewolf the Last Warrior

N64
Super Mario 64

SNES
Final Fantasy 2 & 3

Computer Games
Creatures
Windows Pinball
Screamer 2 Sheer Speed Road Racing

15 Games total = $7.50  ----- All video games in the cabinet were only $0.50. Needless to say, I took it all. I really was giddy when I saw the FF games.

Also snagged these two items
Portable PS2 Monitor (not a Sony product, made by InterAct) $2.00
Pistol Controller with Atari/Sega plug end...No makers mark or copyright to identify it $0.75

While that is very true, they both will stay in my collection. I plan on dumping everything else today and tomorrow.

I dig your banner, I just recently beat Chrono Trigger and I absolutely love the game.

  • damn that was a hella good find for the price per cart.

  • Holy crap man
  • Thanks everybody. I havent found anything within the last few weeks. Nothing at markets, sales, or craigslist. I feel lucky to have found this so late in the day at a heavy traffic store.

  • Sweet find, and for $7.50 you can't go wrong! Also, like RetroNESNerd said, the FFs are good to get money for.
  • Very very nice stuff you found there, I totally forgot to go hit up my Goodwill today.
  • I RARELY find anything good at the GoodWill. The last decent thing were a bunch of DVD box-sets including Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Wire and Scrubs (gay) for $3.99 each. I bought Scrubs 1-8 to resell, only to find out they are worth around $9-12 on eBay so it was definitely not worth it.

Good find though dude. I would be really happy if I found that
  • Super Mario World 64? Never heard of it! Must be super rare! image

Edit: Typo has been correct. Thank you editing staff for catching the error. lol
  • Holy crap 50cents a piece on all those games? Even if you didn't like one of those 2 Final Fantasy games one of those alone would more than make you some profit back.

I wish the 2 goodwills near me didn't suck butt, but they NEVER get in video games at all. On the off chance they do, it's some unusable old PC game or some ratty 10cent value Genesis game no one wants.
  • Sweeet.

    Any pics?
  • Very nice! Also, Pigskin Footbrawl is a $10 cart.

Oh really? I have that and a box. Nice to know.
  • wow, your goodwill rocks! I always see any games go for $5.00 + around here :/
  • +1 The goodwill here has a pile of old Madden genesis games that are 7 bucks a piece. Thats pretty much it.
  • I bought 3 laserdiscs at goodwill today, I have no idea why. Top Gun, Days of Thunder, Heat, and a Pink Floyd Concert laserdisc. O_o

They're all in really good shape though.

  • I am gonna try to get the pics up a little later, today is a busy day for me.
  • My Goodwill is so messed up, They have 2 original Xbox games there for $15 each, but then I bought a Mario Party 5 for the Gamecube for $1. Then I go back again, and they have a pile of Genesis Sports Games. Each one is priced differently, a few $2, 1 $3, and the rest are $5. I wish Goodwill would be more consistent and just sell all games for $0.50 like yours.
  • I have only gone to this locatio twice. Its not a clean looking store, more of a warehouse with giant buckets and bins that you have to dig through.

The nice store not far from my house hardly ever has anything ideo games. I think the last thing I saw was an Atari 2600 and some games for TOO MUCH even by Ebay standards.

I think I will take a trip down there once a week instead.
  • Sweeet! Awsome finds!
  • Pictures have been added. I still dont know what the little gun is for.
  • Wow, I rarely ever see Goodwill sell games THAT cheap! Must've been some sort of pricing SNAFU, i.e. whoever was pricing that day didn't give a rat's ass. Cheapest I ever see is 99 cents, and that's not too often at all. Great thrift finds, good job grabbing it all!
  • Damn lucky. I used to have one of those late 70s mattel things too, but mine was a fun Hockey game.
