Super Mario Watch

I found this at goodwill for $25 moments ago....looks as never used but the glue that keeps the foam on the headphones started breaking down and got black fuzz all over inside of the case. I put the headphones in a bag but the watch is great looks untouched!

  • thats cool man like it
  • I can't believe Goodwill would charge $25 for a used kids watch.
  • My goodwill is up on things with value, I found this in the glass case. Looks as never used, still has foam piece inside wrist band. Maybe adult owned but never touched by a kids hand for sure.

This one recently sold on ebay.

  • Sweet dude. Now you just have to find the candy to go with it. What's the game like?
  • Very cool watch, I'm surprised at Goodwill's pricing as well. For a kids watch, you would think it would be lower.
  • Geez sweet. My goodwill seems to be good for just misc crap, the rare dvd I can't find, or on a really rare shot high quality pieces of art or furniture and too stupid to realize it. I got this arabian/hittite era replica of a frazee with an arab(horse) on it and other little bits for $6 and it's from the Metro Museum of Art, and stuff like that usually costs in the 100s. image Yet, they never have one goddamn game other than a few really horrid beyond forgettable xbox trash.

On the topic of that watch though, I got one too, but it's for the Legend of Zelda (black body/strap version) in primo shape, I think the battery may still work I'd have to check, just no box for it.
  • Holy crap, you paid $25 for that? At a Goodwill?
  • Usually anything with Marios name, no matter what it is has a jacked up price at the goodwill near me.

Nice find though seems you got a decent price for it.
  • That's awesome! I wish a GoodWill around here had one.
  • You payed to much
  • Man, I used to sell these [loose] for $50 all day. Can't believe that one on ebay just went for $20. This summer slump is intense!!
  • Ebay is a gold mine at the moment??
  • Yeah I just sold mine for 20 but it didn't have the case or cords. Cool watch though and nice find!

    They are disgusting
  • Regardless of value, all packaged up in there that looks beautiful! I'd pay 25 if I saw it too, nice pickup.
  • I hate to admit it but I would have as well. It would make a nice companion to my Legend of Zelda black LCD watch.
  • I would have paid it no doubt but for the goodwill to charge that is nuts.
  • Yeah it's robbery for sure. I've gotten expensive furniture (bombay company solid wood foot stool with detachable wood backed silk foot pad) for $3 there in KY, and here in CA I got for $8 a piece of art, a repro of an old arabian/hittite frazee with an arabian horse w/tack that came from the Metro Museum of Art. Those two items are worth a hell of a lot more in real value than that watch and I got both for less than 1/2 the price of the watch too. It's sick seeing that at $25 at a goodwill of all things. Hell come to think of it year and a half ago for $7 I got a complete oval track and 25-30 year old ho scale model train steam engine and 4 cars with transformer too which usually would set one back quite a bit.
  • There prices are all over the place thou, i've got a FF7 black label there for $3.99 one time then the other time i look under the glass and a FF7 black label for $49.99...
  • Anything good at our goodwill is in their auction. Seldom is anything good for sale. The auction process is pretty neat BUT make sure if you are interested, bid while you are there. I wanted a bracelet and did not bid while I was there and I had to talk them into letting me bid. They will let you bid over the phone, but you have to at least bid in person at first. I ended up winning it too.

Oh, and worst part is it was thrown in a jewelry box and one of the workers said, "Hey, this may be worth something!"
