Moron at flea market, but turned out OK

Long story short, went to flea market and dude had a fairly nice CIB Gyromite. He told me he traded the rest of the stuff in at a game store about 45 minutes way which included a Deluxe set which apparently was missing the gyromite and a bunch of other boxed games.

My wife and I got a call today and this guy had a washing machine for us which was in the same area but needed to sell today. I said sure, so I went and got the machine and then went to the game store. Well, they have to hold it a week and cannot put it out until Tuesday, but dude working there informed me that he is getting the deluxe set and metal gear CIB. Oh and dude sold the deluxe and all the games for $50.

Kind of sucked, but still snagged this while at the flea market this morning and picked up some of it at another game store. All in all, not a bad day.

  • Geez what a tard. $50 for a system and a bunch of boxed games. Sounds like the clueless one I got Mega Man 6 off of today for $1. Some people have no idea, and then you just swoop in and take.

I've never been much for figuring out those SCI made games, just weird, slow, and confusion when it comes to those '3D' worlds where everything looks the same. I hear that Might and Magic game is damn good, regardless some nice finds.
  • wow great find some nice titles in there. Please PM me if you wish to sell the Gemfire or the Ultima
  • Looks like you might have gotten a grey v1.0 Ocarina of Time too. PMing you image.
  • Nothing to complain about there =D
  • Yeah, its kind of funny that a couple of those games, I have never found out in the wild, and then when I do, they are CIB. I was pretty pumped.
  • Man I would be SO happy to find either Might and Magic or Gemfire CIB in the wild. (Already found a CIB Warriors of Destiny haha) Great scores joe!
  • Since we're on about flea market clueless sellers and gems in the wild, I know it's a bit speculative per person, but of some of these nicer finds, which would one say it likely worth it to someone who really enjoys a good game, vs just something that just is hard to find in general? I know the Might and Magic series is popular, but most those old D&D games were atrocious but get a few good dollars.
  • Still not too bad of a snag, sucks about that Deluxe set though.
  • Very nice score, especially the Ti-85.image
