9/13/10  So I bought this about a week ago and have been waiting for it to arrive, my #1 most wanted item.  The Non Deluxe set!! Thanks again BA you da man!

9/11/10    So, late last night, I'm driving around with my wife, having a nice drive, the weather was great.  Well, we saw a new store that sells DVDs, and games, so we stopped at 9:45pm 15 minutes before closing.  I looked around didn't see much at first, then went to the display cabinets, and low and behold a found some pretty amazing stuff.  Here's what I found, all appear to be CIB, I will double check again when I post pics tonight.


NES:
 
Sword Master very nice box, looks great.


SNES:
Ogre Battle (never seen this loose or CIB in the wild before)
Ultima : the Black Gate
Ultima: The False Prophet
Ultima: Runes of Virtue

All for around $130 tax and all.  Thought it was a good enough buy, I also picked up a GBA CIB game for $2 but that's mainly to test out a new acquired DS Lite.

    Do you know if Ogre Battle has the charts with it? Can't go wrong with a CIB GBA game for $2 really. Nice finds.

    Yeah that is pretty special. I remember in the later N64 dying days era I found that game in the exact same CIB and condition too for $35 or 40, wasn't much. I was blown away. I couldn't get into it after about 1/2 so I sold it and made a tidy few extra bucks off it. Back then ebay wasn't a wet turd, miss that I do. I think I limit my ebay now to you guys when you post shit there as I know this site is reputable.

    i've got ogre battle with a manual, but that box looks really nice, i want. wish mine was in a box.

    Buybacks? Most of the store is less than desired, but I have found several nice things there in the display case. I was there last week and passed on the Ogre Battle, but I got CIB Breath of Fire 1 and 2, Tecmo Secret of the Stars, Chrono Trigger, Saturn games Dragon Force and Albert Odyssey and several decent NES games CIB like Faria.



    The clerk mentioned it was all from one person, and that it was selling quick. I can only wonder what was already picked through before I saw it. (I do know Dragon Warrior 1,2,3,4 were there CIB)

    Holy shit man, that NES with the big rob face that's the original test launch box. I recall getting it for Christmas in 1985 and then my mom also bagged SMB and Hogan's Alley on the side in boxes. Goddamn that was a good christmas.

    Yeah Matt I have. But the CIB stuff is all for sale and the Non Deluxe Set is something I've been dying to get my hands on. The box is kinda beat up so it's perfect for my crappy tastes image

    That's fantastic!  You can make some money and add some killer stuff to your collection.  Pretty sweet deal man.
