Thumbs up to the person who said Lufia II. That one is definitely worth having. Full of fun puzzle rooms. I can't wait for the reboot on the DS. 2 weeks!
Strange nobody has mentioned the Pocky & Rocky series Great adventure games
I actually own the second game on my PAL SNES, an old rental game with the case and the custom cover insert to fit with it.
The games I currently have for the NTSC SNES is: Mortal Kombat II Super Castlevania IV Earthworm Jim TMNT: Tournament Fighters Bram Stoker's Dracula Pitfall The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past StarFox Super Mario All-Stars Super Mario World Final Fantasy III Donkey Kong Country Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest
How much would I expect to pay for each of these games (cart only)? Mega Man X Final Fantasy II Chrono Trigger Super Mario World II Super Metroid Wild Guns Metal Warriors E.V.O. TMNT IV: Turtles in Time
edit: strangely seems to be down at the moment (at least here)
Thanks! E.V.O., Chrono Trigger, Metal Warriors and Wild Guns are a bit too pricey for me (according to the list). The hard part now is to find someone that have the other titles I want (to about the same price as the list), so I can buy it as a lot to save on shipping, lol.
But how about Doom and Wolfenstein 3D? I've heard these games were ported over to the SNES. How are these games compared to the PC version?
^ Yeah, read through the link Berserker provided, and looked up some other reviews on the web. Both Doom and Wolfenstein 3D are butchered ports! Doom is missing some maps and maybe a couple of monsters. Also the controls are horrible, from what I understand from a couple of reviews on youtube. Wolfenstein have had all the nazi stuff removed (even Hitlers mustache!) The Doom cartridge look cool, I might get it anyway, hehe.
samaron: I might be able to give you a good deal on Chrono Trigger, if you are interested. Just depends on how much you're willing to pay. If you're interested, send me a PM with an offer and we'll see. I can't let it go for like $25 or anything, but I can do less than the going market price.
I also have an extra copy of Megaman X and Super Metroid, I could probably hook you up with a decent deal on those three games. Just let me know.
EDIT: I also have some other games you might be interested in, like Donkey Kong Country 2 and 3, Super Mario Kart, and maybe a few more.

I love VGPC, have been using that website forever, and it is a great resource for getting a quick check on value. However, you have to take those values with a grain of salt.
Wild Guns is listed right now at $125.99, but this is because the site takes some kind of average of available listings across ebay, half.com, amazon, etc. Right now there is a "used" listing on Amazon for $199.99, and it is completely screwing the value for that game. If you look on ebay, you can easily get it for around $60.
I just wanted to let you know in case you saw that and thought "screw that, never gonna spend that much" when really, it is much much cheaper. This becomes a problem with the games that are more rare, because there aren't really enough listings online to get a statistically relevant sample size. Also, the site doesn't differentiate between cart only, CIB, etc.
With most games, it is pretty accurate, because when there are 100 listings of a game, you can trust the average on VGPC, but with games like Wild Guns, you have to take a closer look.
I'm going soon to buy an North-American version of the SNES and some games with it. I also want to hear your opinion on games
What's your favorite game for the SNES? Tell the title, and why you like it.
Wild Guns (best game for snes) Double Dragon 4: Return of Double Dragon (best game for snes) Realm (odd game that reminds od Contra and yet not) DOOM (the music is awesome even if the graphics are worse than the Jaguar version) Contra 3 (Reminds of Metal Slug) Zero the Kamikaze Squirrell (Awsome music and action) Captain Commando (Awesome beat em up despite the lack of 4 player mode) Donkey Kong Country 2 (best DK game ever made) Street Fighter Alpha 2 (best SF game ever made) Pocky & Rocky (excellent for co-op play and very good music)
One that nobody mentioned is Jim Powers its a pretty cool game too.
Lil offtopic but I have to ask is how do you get the US SNES System working with the european power outlets different? Whats the safest way to get it working without frying the power supply?

I were trying to find a converter that had US outlet on it, but couldn't find anything. That's when I realized that I had an old power supply (0-30VDC) from a school. I just cut off the cable and connected it to the power supply, set it to 10VDC, and connected it to the SNES. Looks weird, but the best and cheapest solution I came up with.

(I can only think of DOOM and Maximum Carnage.)
Other than that, there are no real redeeming qualities...
I wasn't able to find one for Wolfenstein 3D though.

My advice would be to stay far away from any 3d shooters on the snes
They are utter crap compared to the PC version. My opinion at least
