I love a classic NES soundtrack as much as the next person (MM series, SMB series, Zelda series etc) But I really like the Gain Ground soundtrack on Genesis/Megadrive. And the PS2 remake versions are even better!
Hah Pac-Man Fever! I had that tape when it came out, played it so hard that it got stretched, and even then I ran it until it was just unbearable. Sadly, I know they started to re-publish it, but the price was a bit high for my liking because they know they can get the 80s former kid audience on it.
Dude, once I get real Internet back(only got my iPhone right now) I'll shoot you a copy of the vinyl rip (in mp3s) that I downloaded a while back. I even tagged it with the album art and all :-)
^ Agreed. SOTN had amazing music. Actually every Castlevania I've ever played has had excellent music. This as probably been said already but Donkey Kong Country 1 & 2 have the best music in my opinion of any games. I want to buy the CD's so bad but can never find one em' for a decent price
What player do you guys use? I'm using winamp with NotSoFatSo plugin. So many great Nes soundtracks. Right now I'm playing Ys book I & II and the soundtrack is awesome.
Guilty Gear & Guilty Gear X, Most of the Catlevania games up through Symphony of the Night, Ninja Gaiden NES, Scorcher (PC and Saturn), F-Zero X, Final Fantasy VI, Halo (the first one).. Lots of others.
