Indy Heat - Danny Sullivan

I will be contacting Mr. Sullivan in the coming weeks and i want to be able to ask some questions of him about his NES game.  I have a few in mind but i wanted to get everyone elses opinon too.  So please post some questions that you would like to ask Mr. Sullivan.  I also wanted to get him a Complimentary Account made so i can include that in my letter.

I'm hoping to get my copy of Indy Heat signed also.  So i will keep everyone up to date but please post some questions.

  • Wow I wonder if he even remembers this? image If so, does he own a copy for himself?

I'd stay away from any questions involving compensation (tacky) but would be curious to know if he had any creative control.
  • He may remember it vaguely, but I doubt he forgot it completely. Those people who have passed their prime thrive on remembering things like this from their glory days. He will love being contacted about this. It'll give him something to smile about. Plus the fact that there are people out there (us) who actually still care about something that he was included in 20 years ago should also make him happy.

Wish I had a box for him to sign. image
  • Next we should try to contact Dusty Diamond! image
  • It would be pretty awesome to have his real signature next to the on that's already on the box. Get mine signed for me???????
  • how are you going to be able to contact him
  • Bradley collects autographs. It's what he does. He has ways to contact a number of people. He is also contacting Lee Travino and more in the future.
  • thats pretty sweet. can you get up with Jordan and Birdimage
  • You should see if you can get in touch with Al Unser and Michael Andretti about their awesome games too. Inform Mr. Sullivan that his was at least the rarest of the bunch.
  • no, that honor would to mr. nigel mansell... or mr. jimmy connors........
  • i would have to agree with bronty
  • Don't leave out Magic Johnson, Roger Clements, Bo Jackson, and Robocopimage
  • I will see Bo at a golf tournament next year and i will get it signed.  I had the game with me to get signed this year but I got a Football signed instead.
  • I get the Mansell game on a semi regular basis, but I've only ever had two Indy Heat.
  • Could we track down the girls on the cover of the Panesian games? Now that would freakin cool! Wonder if they are still hot, or if the years of 8bit semi-porn have taken their toll.

Also, you can't forget Fabio on the cover of Iron Sword (Wiz + Warrrior 2)

And while we're at it, lets see if Fred Savage would do an interview for NA discussing the behind the scenes making of the classic movie "The Wizard"

I could go on and on... image
  • coolest one to have if we are going to include non-sports would be mike myers and dana carvey signed wayne's world. Or maybe a tyson.

Could be a geographic thing. I'm 99% sure mansell ranks higher on DP's rarity guide, if that's any indication, and as far as sealed copies go no question mansell is tougher (thanks again dustin). Mansell also ranks higher on the nintendoage rarity guide. 6-7-7 as opposed to 5-5-5. Jimmy C is also 6-7-7 per nintendoage.
  • The only signed stuff I have is David Crane signed Boy and His Blob, and a Gary Kitchen Signed Battletank. Still pretty freaking cool I think.

  • Much love for your two games Jason. I somehow appreciate creators' sigs over those of movie/sports stars and such. It's kinda cool that someone with talent left their mark on something you own that they approved to be created...but it's a little deeper to have the person that developed your game acknowledge it personally. I'm proud of my Al-signed copy of the Sudoku manual image
  • wow now if you had every game sealed and autographed by the programer and in cases like tysons punchout, danny sulivan etc that would be a major accomplishment
  • That would be ludicrous. So many different genres. At least with Sci Fi autos you can go to a convention and knock out a half dozen at one shot image Certainly a relatively unexplored section of collecting though. Interesting.
  • I kinda collect game related autographs. I pick em up if i can get them kinda cheap. I probably have somewhere between 10-15 of them right now. I think they are pretty cool especially if its signed by game developers or something although i do have a couple celebrity/athlete signed games too.
  • Was gonna give this a thread in Auction Forums but it was more appropos here

    Funny, I don't remember a Diff'rent Strokes game image
  • This one is a relist, the original buyer must not have paid. Very funny though, it is on gamesniped.com as well today.

  • What chu talkin bout Willis?
  • He doesn't look real happy in that picture.  I guess I would be unhappy too if I had to sell my gamecube (if I had a gamecube).
