Oh yees... I remember the nymph... That was the room before the courtyard where Hades is located? Perhaps I will have to insert the password everytime I die or just play until I am sure I will win and still has low energy left in the lifebars... Then I reload with water
Looking closer at the maps of Tartarus and Hades' Palace, there are 2 nymph rooms in Tartarus. One is located in the area with the yellow, brick platforms. The other is in one of the outdoor areas with the purple, stone platforms and mountains in the background. I also noticed in Hades' Palace that there is a room where you can buy nectar for 30 olives.
Battle of Olympus is one of my favorite NES games. It blows away Zelda II in every way. What else can you ask for but awesome controls, great setting, cool items, great music, good graphics and a pretty tough challenge!
I loved it as a kid but when i played it a couple of months ago it wasnt the same feeling like back then. Maybe it has to grow on me an i have to try a little harder seeing your positive reactions.
Ive played through and beaten it. I really enjoyed it except 2 aspects. You die and lose all your olives. Causing you to go to a safe spot and amass them. And the nymphs were too hard to find I had to use an faq.
Overall I liked zelda 2 quite a bit more, but this was an excellent game. Zelda 2 for me is like in my top 3 nes games
Well the benefit with this game is that is uses a password insted of batterybackup so you dont have to change batteries and there will be no leak that could harm the instrucktions, maps and boxes.
It would be awesome if they made a password edition of all games to the NES that uses backupbattery
