all this month I've been doing posts about horror-related games. Today was Castevania: The Adventure. It's full of drunken grammatical mistakes. But I swear, the blog is usually really good. image

    Hey Brad nice blog! I happen to love The Castlevania Adventure. Hard, but a decent 1st gen Game Boy game. And drunken bad grammar is the best kind! BTW, check out the link to my blog bellow. Got some good stuff there.

    I own that game still and its sequel too, and it so gets crapped on unfairly. Sure it's smaller, harder than many of them, and lacks the usual weaponry but it's a good title and also for the time has strong audio/visuals for a GB (I can still remember that first level tune.)

    I added a post about World Reborn, an unfortunately unreleased GBA shmup that I think deserves an indie release.

    I'm really interested in World Reborn; SHMUPs and RPGs are genres that I always thought would mesh well, if executed elegantly. The trouble is combining the fast-paced action of the former with the methodical, deliberate pace of the latter. I'll take a look, and see what the game is all about.
