My Gamecube Blog

I made a blog about the Gamecube a couple months back, and have been gradually adding new articles to it. I thought some of you might like it, so here it is:

Basically, it covers anything about the Gamecube, its games, accessories, and everything else.

lisalover's not a fan of horror -- though he did recently attempt RE4 I think.

@lisalover, did you play it yet?? image
  • Oddly I collect PS2, but not GameCube, yet, might check out your blog anyway
  • Yeah, Game Boy Player Land and Is It About My Cube are definitely sister sites. Together, we form the ultimate compendium about the Game Boy/Color/Advance and Gamecube. image

Also, yes, I am playing through Resident Evil 4 right now; I'm trying to get a review of it done by Halloween, but I'm finishing up a Luigi's Mansion review as we speak.
  • Luigi's Mansion was my first Cube game. Got it at launch. I think it's a great game, but I beat it so fast and couldn't afford another game for a while. So that was kind of a let-down.

How are you enjoying RE4? How far have you gotten so far?

I've only just started RE4; I'm still in the village. But, I'm enjoying it; I'll definitely keep playing. You were right in saying it is more action than actual horror.

Also, I just added that Luigi's Mansion review.
  • Very cool. I've been looking over it and loving it. And I lol'd at this:

A: First of all, fuck you.

  • That's the most appropriate answer I can give to that tired ass shit comment that started thanks to Sony back in the N64 era. Most effective gaming smear campaign, ever.
  • I just added a post reviewing Resident Evil 4.
  • Hey man just checked out your blog. Very nice! I've never played Luigi's Mansion before but I may just check it out now. The Gamecube is a very kick arse machine, still got mine. BTW, since we're on the same site you should check my NES blog out!

I just looked through some of the reviews in your blog, and I am really enjoying reading them. Keep up the good work!
  • Just added a compendium of possible Audio/Video setups for the 'Cube. image
  • Nice article! I will say this, the Gamecube is an underrated console, and one of the most heavily bashed ones as well because of stupid reasons like the discs or the controller (which the controller is alot better than the previous N64 controller) or the games. From what I played, the Gamecube has some really good games unlike it's processor the Wii which the Wii is basically the Gamecube with the same graphics or worse like certain Wii shuffleware titles on the system, and a motion controller that gets people "Ooh-ing" and "Ah-ing".
  • New review post about Star Fox Assault. image
  • There's a new post up, reviewing Animal Crossing.
  • Nice reviews. Ive been thinking about getting into GC for awhile.
  • Nice reviews!
  • Sweet, not enough GC lovin' out there IMO
  • Nice blog. Gamecube rules. F any GC hataz.
  • I agree...GC is a great system and has dramatically been over looked since the wii has come out. The fact that the wii is backwards compatible did not help to extend the life of the GC.
