  • I wish you'd say how much you got the stuff for. That's the fun part man.
  • Most of them do have what I paid but there are a few that I did forget to list what I paid.

    Vectrex system 40.00
    Mega Man x3 20.00
    MULE 4.00
    FFMQ 4.00
    Raiden 5.00
    SoS 3.00
    Stone Protectors 3.00
    Broken Turbo Duo 10.00

Sometimes I forget since I buy so damn much crap I lose track image
  • I also picked up about 30 NES titles I needed but I never took a photo and since I already marked them off the master list and filed them away it would take me forever to dig them out but I got them at the same price as the SNES games from Play n Trade 2.00 each.

    Win!
  • Damn right that's a win, hell MMX3 for $20 was too considering what mmx fanboys will jack that up to.
  • Yeah even though the Vectrex controller is jacked its still worth every penny image
  • I havent really been finding much I been super busy with school and moving but I did manage to find a couple of killer deals.

Pawn Shop was selling a ton of SNES games at various prices, The shop owner told me if I bought all them plus the Capcom fighter Stick I could get them for 3 each needless to say I jumped on it quick.

The NES stuff I got at another pawn shop for 5 each.

The Miracle Keyboard I found at Goodwill, Complete (meaning with the cords to use on the NES,PC and FootPad) minus the Adaptor but I found one that fit it perfectly same voltage and amprage it was from a simular keyboard sitting next to the Miracle. 14.99 out the door works flawlessly.

  • So its been awhile since I have gone out on the hunt for games! And let me tell you it was a rush!

So over the last 2 day's I have found some pretty cool stuff!

All of this was from thrift stores and pawnshops, No game store purchases!

The Steel Battalion controller was found at Goodwill for 12.99 in great shape minus the one switch being broke off, still works though (no foot petals)

The NES games and 2 SNES games were found at a ST Vincent DePaul for 3.99 each!

The N64 games were found at a Pawn Shop 2.99 each!

Xbox Robocop was found at a Half Priced Books 9.99 (worth it for the Robocop fan!)

Super stoked about that SB controller! I worked on that game back in my day's at Microsoft never picked it up due to the 200.00 price tag but finding the controller in the wild was pretty cool to say the least!

    image
  • wow. a green button SB controller in the wild. nice find! i have a spare SB: Line of Contact for sale, if you need one of the games
  • Wow great picks there. I don't blame you or anyone not wanting to blow $200 on a stupid controller, even if it was pretty damn slick for the game it's just asking too much pricing a thing like that at the same level as an entire system. Also, very nice looking KQ5 cart there, it's goodie.
  • uiengineer, IS that the online only sequel? I just got the orignal game should be here in a week or so, Still looking for petals though!
  • i think so. i never actually played it. i just have 2 copies.

and yeah, i didn't get my copy of this game/controller until last year.  I got a very mint set with box for $60. He also gave me the 2nd game and some strategy books. I couldn't believe it.
  • Down at the PAWN SHOP!

And I was just about to pull the trigger on a 25 dollar Star Craft too!

Got all of these for 3 each!

    image
  • i need a few of those (including starcraft)
  • I am insanely jealous of the finds in this topic. I go to all the thirft stores 3-4 times a week and rarely see anything of note. They all seem to have sports titles from the original X-box from when all the Blockbuster Video stores went out of buisness. Other than that, I am lucky to find a Mario/Duck Hunt more than once a month, and they always charge no less than $5 for it. You should relish what you have up there in Washington, because here in Idaho, there is nothing. I knew I never should have moved away...
  • Summer finds to date, This is all the stuff I have found over the summer, in the wild, Pawn Shops and Thrift Stores.

I paid 70.00 for the DS xl and games it was missing a charger and stylus, Thanks to Vallue Village I was able to get both a charger and stylus for under 2 bucks.

I have just a little over 100.00 invested (counting the DS) in this lot.

    Enjoy!

  • Found this gem in the wild!

    image
  • Very nice! Fun n' Games has got to be a tough one to find in the wild.
  • Very cool and not something you find everyday in the wild. N64 Proto dev cart for audio testing. This unit has 4 MP3's on it all recored in different bit rates and frequencies.

Song one, Sound Clip from The Terminator

    Song two, Lust Full song

Song three, Partical Man Full Song

Song four, Biology Almost a full song

This is a big storage cart as you can see by the 32meg flash memory chips and one that can be flashed with other roms or dev tools.

    Enjoy!

  • Niiiice. I have not seen or touched one of those in over a decade. Great find and thankfully nearly the largest too as only a very few games were 512 in size so more or less anything goes on that one if you can flash it.
  • Well that's downright awesome, nice man!
  • Awesome FINDINGS GOOD SIR ! ^_^
  • Thanks guy's I probably have about 200 or so more games I have saved from the wild that I havent listed or documented into the collection yet.
  • So since I worked for Microsoft Xbox Team back in the day and tested almost all these games at one point and even working on the Dev cycle for a few key titles, I kind of wanted to slowly start collecting Xbox games. Since most are stupid cheap and can be had still pretty easy I decided to put a WTB Original Xbox games ad on CL about a week ago, My only rule was they had to be complete or have original green cases.

So to fast Forward some, the last day that the ad was up on Craigslist I get an email from a person titled, Get these out of my Garage! So I read the email "Hey I see you want some Old Xbox games well I have a bin full of them and the wife wants them gone before she tosses them out" and I replied with a time set up to go check this out. I get there and there and met the seller pretty cool guy who also worked for MS back in the day in the Game Evaluation Department, He pulls out this pretty large sized clear plastic tote filled with Xbox games, I ask "how much?" after looking though and all he said was Merry Christmas they are yours for nothing, since I got most of them for free anyway I would rather give them away then have them thrown away.

So I walked away with a pretty nice Xbox lot for the cost of my time and gas.

Few doubles but some good games like:

    Conkers

    Nightcaster II

    Enclave

    Panzer Dragoon

    Beyond Good and Evil

    Halo

    Halo 2

    Cell Damage

Oh yeah and a few Xbox360 titles too.

    Just to name a few.

  • Found this Kiosk in the wild! Works great, Only missing a few small details like the top art and the 2 pokemon that were glued to the top. The lock and Key were removed but can be replaced.

This thing is awesome! Now to only figure out how to disable the Kiosk timer to play games for more then 5 min / 15 min, so if any of you know please feel free to PM me or post in this thread.

Also please do not ask if this is for sale, This is going to be a perminate fixture in my man cave!

    Here you go!

  • Did you get the one that was in Everett? If it is, I had contemplated going after it yesterday, but I'm glad someone got it who really wanted it.

    Looks nice!
  • I hate you Shinju, I was gonna grab this tomorrow

  • Yes this was the one that was in Everett, According to the seller I was the first to email him and that was at around 11pm of the day he posted it at 4pm earlier that day. I was suprised I was able to get this as the last one that was posted over 4 years ago went for 4 times as much and did'nt even last 3 hours.

It is in pretty nice condition for sure, the artwork has minimal damage a few scrapes and bumps here and there but hey this thing was loved by thousands of kids over the course of a year it was in blockbusters. The controller is tight and the joystick is in amazing condition.

I just want to figure out how to disable the kiosk timer I am thinking its one of the wall mole plugs that is hooked to the N64, reason I think this is that the system is the only thing that power cycles the rest of the kiosk stay's on. I might call Nintendo tomorrow and see if anyone can shead some light on this.
