I owned this game for a while when I was a kid, and thought it was horrible. The main track that plays during the game is awful too. Damn was I surprised today when I went here: http://bombsomedodongos.com/nes/  and played the rest of the soundtrack. There are some badass songs on there. Some of the best I've heard. I can't stop listening.

    I actually beat this game in 5 minutes once. Used to love Dragon Lance. Dragonstrike has some great tunes as well (especially the overworld music)
