After Market Systems, Unlicesned Games

Just today somebody left me negative feedback about a game I sold him. It was a copy of Tengen RBI Baseball, and he claimed it did not work. After investigating him feedback I noticed he had recently purchased an after market, cheapo, POS "NES" system on ebay. I informed him that sometimes the unlicesned games such as tengen ones, and others do not work on these systems. I have heard this before, and wanted to find out if it's really true, or if I completley bullshited this guy. (Doesn't matter much anyway, he already withdrew the feedback and I'm giving him a refund.) So, I turn this matter over to the experts.

  • Hell, sometimes even the licensed games don't work as they should on those cheapo NES clones!
  • I know Maniac Mansion does not work on the Yobo, so it's perfectly feasable that the game you sold would not work.
  • i allways wondered how those systems worked. guess i was right for thinking they were junk.
  • If I recall correctly, Castlevania III is usually incompatible with them too.

EDIT: And Gauntlet seems to be incompatible as well. Not sure about other unlicensed games, though.
