Who's Billy Mitchell besides being overly bashed and a total noob for not knowing who he is?
Billy L. Mitchell, born July 16, 1965, in Holyoke, Massachusetts, is best known for recording high scores in classics from the Golden Age of Arcade Games.
I think people just love to hate the guy because it's so easy to do. I think we all wish we were famous for a video game record and some hot sauce be he just takes it to a whole new level.
I don't hate him I just think that he was a dick on King of Kong by treating the other guy(cant remember his damn name right now)with no respect at all and backing out every time he was supposed to play against him.I mean what a fucking pussy it's a damn game not a street fight.

Steve Weibe. Yeah, the movie really painted Billy as the villain, but if you look around, apparently it wasn't that cut and dry.

I think people should read the official TG statement regarding the movie, then adjust their true opinions of all parties involved. It's not a quick read -- there's a lot of information here:
Personally I've always given Billy Mitchell the benefit of the doubt concerning the movie, soley based on the fact that it was chronicling Steve Wiebe. Not to mention his friend filmed and edited everything. I don't think they could've made him be seen in a non-negative light.

Personally I've always given Billy Mitchell the benefit of the doubt concerning the movie, soley based on the fact that it was chronicling Steve Wiebe. Not to mention his friend filmed and edited everything. I don't think they could've made him be seen in a non-negative light.
Yeah, and the movie really feeds off of that good guy/bad guy dynamic. Billy actually did quite a lot of good things in the movie too, like when he buys that old lady a Q-Bert machine.
