Wii sports games (not "Wii Sports") reviews/info?

How are the sports games on Wii?  I haven't bought a new sports game in a while because they got a little too complex for me with the controls, etc.

My favorite era was like 2003-2005 for sports controls/style.

How are the NBA and NHL games for Wii?  Anything special I'd really like and/or hate?

I've heard NBA 2k11 is amazing, but how does it translate on the Wii?

    Best sports game(s) on the Wii that I've played (outside of "wii sports & ws resort) are NBA Jam and Tiger Woods '10.



    NBA Jam is an upgrade to an arcade classic most of us know and love. Tiger Woods 10 is fun because of frisbee golf. That mode alone is worth the $20 or less you can find the game for now. Need a Wii Motion Plus of course, but it's a blast once you get the learning curve down.

    I haven't played a golf game since Golf for NES back in the 80's.

    NHL Slap Shot is a whole lot of fun. And I agree with NBA Jam and Tiger Woods '10. Great games.

    Try out NBA Jam, I heard very good things about it on the Wii.
