At the end of yesterday's POTD (12/05/07), we almost got kinda serious about the NintendoAGE movie...



Would you be interested in seeing a DVD that has some collections / interviews / etc from the users in this community?



I would be willing to sink some time into this, and I'm sure others would be willing to make it happen.

    I'm game! I voted "Other" on the last one because I think most of the options (including subtitles for NGD's hollar) would be cool to see, especially hot moms!

    Tusk went to film school.

    I think it would be a cool thing to watch even if it wasn't even put together that well.  I love bad editing.

    I think it should be up to the collector what he or she chooses to do with his/her 5-10 minute segment. Or i guess it really doesn't matter.  longer the better.

    A day in the life of that person would be pretty cool too.  just like family stuff.  like that.  totally non-nes stuff.

    I've also taking some film training. I've got all the editing gear already, so I wouldn't mind compiling everything. I'm sure I could handle getting some custom DVD prints because we buy custom ones here at work, so that's not an issue. DVD cases are easy enough, and I can whip up a DVD cover in photoshop in a few hours I'm sure.



    So really... It just comes down to user submitted content.

    I'm gonna have to be a sour puss on this one. I only ever click into the collection pics thread to make sure noone's flaming each other...never been much interested in Rooms o' Doom except my own. And even that's a constant WIP. (read: a mess)

    I think it would be more to get an idea of the person behind the collection. Sure I can just look at your avatar and just assume you're a dancing ghost in real life, but I think it would be neat to see what the every day end user is like - Put a face to the name. Not everyone can afford to get out to events like CGE to meet up with everyone else, so this would be a nice alternative. Plus... just think of the hot moms!

    Although I'm still down for a pinups calendar with high-ticket NES collectibles image I'll even shave my legs for it.

    I think it's a great idea, and although I don't personally own a video camera that I would be able to use, I'm sure I could steal my dad's the next time I go visit. As for what I would like to see in the DVD, I voted for "other" for the same reason Dain did, but as I read, I guess the thing I'd MOST want to see would be collectors and their collections.
