Animaniacs games

I've noticed that almost all of the Animaniacs video games produced so far have been arguably solid since playing the SNES and Genesis ones (which I own) both of which are by Konami but the SNES one plays more like a beat-em-up and the Genesis one like an action-platformer. The black and white gameboy one (which is a port of the Genesis game) may be the weakest, but the Great Edgar Hunt (GC/XBOX) and Lights Camera Action (GBA/DS) have also been enjoyable, and both are also by the same company. I was suprised when playing TGEH for the first time, as it was rare to find a decent license-based game, and I have yet to clear it but so far am enjoying it immensely. Although I honestly have not played the Animaniacs Tin Pin Alley game for PS1.

  • Most of the Gameboy versions of good games for the NES/SNES are always pretty watered down, for the most part. Not going to say every game is watered down, because there are some gems in there.
  • I love Animaniacs games as well. The SNES version is surprisingly difficult though.
  • I remember my friend first coming up to me with the Animaniacs game for the SNES back when it came out. We were both fans of the animated show and I was suprised at how fun the game was. I was expecting some cheap game thrown out on the market to make some fast money but instead they actually made a pretty solid title out of it.
