Ah you mean those. Those are novels from Blizzard. Stories in the world of Diablo, Starcraft and Warcraft. Very cool actually. About my cat he really glows when lying or sitting in the sun.
Ah, ok. They looked a lot like the old Lone Wolf novels. The series was written by one of the creators of Warhammer for Games Workshop. They were a "choose your own adventure" type book. I think 25 or 30 ultimately were written. My friends and I loved them in elementary and middle school.

My cousin had Vinnie Paul autograph his arm, then he went and had a tattoo of his autograph done right over it. It's pretty sweet
For you Diablo fanatics, if you enjoy proper "rogue-likes" as well, check out ChaosForge.org. The guy over there, Kornel, amongst many other projects, has put together a really good rogue-like rendition of Diablo. It's in demo form, but you get to play to the Butcher.
