3Gen's finds post
So, went yard saling today, here's what I brought home!
Silver Gamecube+Controller and hookupos with GBA player and startup disk. Also came with Super Mario advanced GBA game. $10
Animal Crossing for gamecube: $2. One of my favorite games, so I was VERY happy to find it!
Kingdom Hearts 2 and Vice City for PS2. $5.
Powerpad: $1.
NES Jeopardy in box, box is beat to hell, game is in good condition: $0.50.
So pumped, great finds. Tomorrow is the hamfest so my finds will be a mi of videogames and tech junk, unless I (GASP) don't find anything at the hamfest. But rest assured, I've pulled out so many amazing tech finds at hamfest I'll come back with SOMETHING. Stay tuned guys!
ETA: After hamfest results!
Well, today was weird. I sold some stuff, not making a killing but good to move some of my games and get some spending money for more garage sales:
Cleaned up SNES with 1 controller+Yoshis Island+SMW+SMAS: $40.
Contra 3 bad condition: $15.
Pokemon gold and silver: $5 each. -_- (Parents sold them, ugh.)
Castlevania SOTN PS1 GH: $4, paid $1 last week.
I picked up a FF VII missing disk 1 GH perfect case for $1, so so. But I have about $550 worth of games total on the table, early on some guy apparently comes up and wants to buy basically everything besides sega stuff. They find me and tell me and I go over, well, supposedly the guy is one guy who sold a SE he found, at a localish flea market go figure. I'd heard of it before. He also says he has a Caltron and a bigger collection, I'm guessing a mix of collector/reseller, okay cool, lets make a deal. He asks what I'd want for my american GBA gams and all my SNES stuff, basically. The lot included stuff like:
3 Super mario worlds
2 SMRPG's
2 Super Mario All Stars
1 refurbed SNES (Sold later)
1 Contra 3
1 Super Game Boy
DK Country
Megaman X2
and just a ton of other solid $5-$10 titles, about 40 games in total I'd guess, about 30 solid SNES titles. Well, eventually he says he'll come back later when I get it all figured up, he said he'd look it up to to make sure. Well, he left, I generally priced it in groups and added it up and it came to $400 retail price for all the games. Well, he never showed back up, he sounded like a serious buyer. I guess he was just looking for somebody stupid who didn't know what they had and wanted to stun them with an amazing $100 or so, lol. Oh well, at least I ended up selling about $80 worth of average games. Also picked up six or so 25x2 displays, three 20x4 text displays for about $5, and a graphics LCD, generic chips, we'll see what protocol it uses later. It'll keep me busy for a while.

You should send that Star Tropics cart to Paul for the crappy collection. He's always looking for crappier downgrades!
Already checked and mine was a huge chunk missing.
Nice, give Kid Icarus a play through, it is a great one.
X2. Kid Ick is my favorite game. Fun, fun....(I hate this game, this game is stupid) fun, fun, fun.
FF VII Black label+Parasite Eve black label: $1. Was $2, offered $1 because FFVII wa smissing a disk and Parasite Eve was missing two. Well, after I got in the car, was putting the disks in order and FF VII disk 1 poped out of the parasite eve case behind another one! Then Parasite eve had both disks needed for the game on top of that, so over all a damn good deal! I was happy about that, now I have both copies of FF VII, GH and Non-GH.
SNES Games: $2 each, $3 for CB/CIB ones:
TMNT IV: Turtles in Time C
Primal Rage C
Simpsons: Bart's Nightmare C
Might Morphing Power Rangers CIB
The Incredible Hulk CB
So yeah, I'm pretty content with this weekends finds.
