Are there 5 screws of Karate Kid, Jaws, Star Force, Side Pocket, Mike Tyson, Mega Man and Karnov? I'm assuming that this Gotcha is like one in a million so these others, if they exist, would be as well?
BTW, has anyone heard of a Gold Zelda with WHITE Zelda on the end? I have one and Ive looked really closely at it and doesnt seem to be faded because the gold around it is consistent.

I had a Zelda II reprint with the red strip on top- but it was all white. Definitely wasn't sunfaded either.
in comparing the two images we can see a lighter blue on the white top copy the gems are definately effected as well notice they are far more red in the bottom copy and the one major point which goes to sunfading is that the back has red if i recall

That's used to be copy alright, and no the gems weren't faded whatsoever. Here's a cropped image.
I deemed it not sunfaded but a factory error at the time, But I still don't know without a doubt. The ink on the sides sort of "smeared" from red to clear a bit and I considered it a runout.
If you notice, the Nintendo logo on the bottom is also missing the red.
if the color error extended to both sides then i would agree that its not sun fading, but sense there is lightening of the ink only on one side the boxes a printed flat at one time if it was a printing error it would be on both sides because the red strip on both sides is printed at the same time the fact that the nintendo sign is faded too all points to fading this game as well as the other found could have been a flea market game sitting out in the sun fading. another thing is the gems on the sword look totally different between the two boxes. it most noticeable on the top gem.
I did my best to skim this thread for an answer and couldn't find one. So I'm asking, has anyone else seen or heard of an upside down label on a Rambo cart? I recently picked one up and its gotten a lot of attention on my Instagram and other local collectors. No one has ever seen one though.
from my research upside down labels on Nes licensed games are one of a kind in fact there are only 3 games which have multiple upside down. two genesis and one unlicensed Nes
Sure, just please watermark it with my user name so it isnt taken to be sold as ultra rare or anything. Do you know of any collectors of these sorta misprints?
Out of curiosity, is my Stadium Events elegiable for "variant" tracking?
It has the same centered label as the 5-screws, which also gives more evidence to my theory that there were three shipments of Stadium Events with the centered artwork being the rarer variants.
I thought I discovered a 3-screw Soccer cart, but upon closer inspection, it turns out to be the CAN variant I'm a sad, sad panda! At any rate, it still looks odd to me. It has two black Nintendo seals on the front. I think it's a Mattel version. Does that sound normal? I'm still on the hunt for more variants. I MUST HAVE THEM ALL! lol
So, while out hunting this passed weekend, I picked up a better copy of Gyromite to replace my previous one. I had thought the label on the previous copy was sun faded, but the lack of color does not seem to be in all parts of the label. It doesn't seem natural. I thought I had read about this on a cart elsewhere, but maybe I got it confused with a previous post about boxes with odd coloring. What do you guys think? Is this a variant? Click to view a bigger version.
The lack of yellow ink is proof enough that it's sunfaded. But it's also been exposed to a LOT of humidity as evidenced by the deterioration of the label, and a lot of cigarette smoke, or mold/must as evidenced by the "white" parts and the plastic itself being yellowed.
No variant there, but I bet that sucker still works like a champ!

Another BTW, What is considerd a MAJOR variant?
in comparing the two images we can see a lighter blue on the white top copy the gems are definately effected as well notice they are far more red in the bottom copy and the one major point which goes to sunfading is that the back has red if i recall
I also added a section for box errors due to the Zelda II above. It reminded me of my crazy Super C box, so I added it, too:
It's like the printing shifted and makes a trippy, almost 3D look.
i believe this was josephleo's copy

Edit: for future clarity sake - this image gallery was uploaded at the same date of this post. NOT during my selloff.
The back did have the red though.

just do a text search for upside down or label position

Sweet! Also, it is interesting that you found the box BEFORE the cart... I wonder how long until you find the cart?! Nice find!
Can i too ask something about the zelda 2 color differences?
I have this one, is this sunfaded or... what? I'm ALMOST sure it is sunfaded due to the gems and the back.
Thanks
