Comments

  • Are they loose carts, or CIB?
  • Those prices aren't incredible, but it's still nice to find things in the wild.
  • It's still nice to find stuff in the wild, isn't it?

  • No they're loose carts. But in good shape! 100% good shape!

And your right, it's more fun to find these instead of playing them. image

    My search continues this weekend.

2 weeks ago I went to another Flea Market and one hispanic dude's prices were to extreme!

    Super Mario Bros. 2 - $18
    Dick Tracy - $8
    Mega Man 2 - $16
    Robocop - $9
    Mega Man 5 - $50

And these games were loose not CIB!

It's decent - by no means the best but at $2 why not eh
  • StarTropics is an amazing and under-rated game. Sure the controls aren't the best, but you'll be surprised if you give it some play time. Try it out. The yo-yo will grow on ya image
  • Star Tropics was one of my favorite games as a kid, many fond memories. image
  • I found Star Tropics to be tons of fun as a kid, that is, until I made it to the point where I had to enter that stupid code that is on the letter from your uncle. This was pre-internet so I had put it on the shelf for years until I could find the info online. I was very disappointed with Zoda's Revenge though, not a big fan at all.
  • Alright, now for my update of this weekend.

Went to 4 Flea Markets in the Houston area and found:

    Dr. Mario - $2
    Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers - $6
    Kid Icarus - $4
Power Glove (Loose with out the sensors) - $5
6 Ofiicial Ninentedo Dust Covers - $1 each but she sold it to me for $5

As for other items I saw:

    1. Lots of old GameBoy's (the 1st ones!)
    2. I saw some NES Advantage contollers and they were going for $5 to $14
    3. I saw a Virtual Boy console with no stand or remote for $10
    4. As for you big time collectors, I did see some CIB games but can't remember the names to these games. Just 1 or 3 of them. I did see a Legend of Zelda (Gold) CIB but the top of the lid was torn off. They wanted $22 for that.

And that's it for this weekend update from me. So far my list of games left to get looks like this:

    Super Mario Bros. 2
TMNT 2 : The Arcade Game
    TMNT 3: The Manhattan Project
    Contra
    Mega Man
    Mega Man 5
    Mega Man 6
    Ninja Gaiden 3
    Tiny Toon Adventures
    Darkwing Duck
    Double Dragon 2
    Double Dragon 3
    Roller Games
    Tale Spin
    Mighty Final Fight
    Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout
    G.I. Joe (the 1st one)
The Simpsons: Bart vs The Space Mutants
