3 in 1 AC adapter

Anyone used one of these before?          http://cgi.ebay.com/AC-DC-POWER-ADAPTER-ADAPTOR-NES-SNES-GENESIS-NINTENDO-/180655458601?pt=Video_Games_Accessories&hash=item2a0fe78929

I need something fitting this exact description, but have a nagging feeling its useless junk...hope not though.

  • I used one for a bit, they work just fine. I personally prefer original hardware just for the sake of having the original stuff.
  • i use a 3 in 1 for my psp, 3ds and dslite...ive had no issues
  • While I was back in the States I bought an 3 in 1 adapter. It even has an USB port so that I can still use it over here in Germany. Works swell, I must say.
  • im 90% SURE i have this. It has 2 outlets, SNES and the NES and Sega is the same. Works good, but if you have both plugged in at once only have one console powered up at a time.
  • Ok, thanks for the responses. I guess I'll get one. It's for my extra consoles I have hooked up at my gf's house.

    perfect for that...
  • I have this, and give it my recommendation.
  • Ok, I now have this and have tested it out.

It works great for nes, and snes, but for genesis it adds what sounds like a ground loop buzz to the audio. Its not horrible, and you may not even notice it on regular tv speakers (my consoles are going through decent powered studio monitors). Overall, for $5 or whatever it is, being able to use 1 adapter for all 3 consoles is pretty cool.

    Thanks for the replies
  • they're cheap, the cords are short. But they do work. If you want something that succeeds in providing power to a closeby console it's not bad and if you use SNES and Gen or something on the same TV it actually serves a good purpose.
