Minecraft anybody?

I haven't played in a while but I wanted to get started with Minecraft again. I just paid for some server hosting and the server is up and running, and should be able to support up to 8 on at a time without difficult. Does anybody play, and want to play a multiplayer map with me? I have some friends that play, but they only want to play if I install their previous world on it. That's fine for them, but I'll be starting new in their world and its on my server. That just doesn't sound as fun to me!

So if anybody plays or has been interested, let me know! I'd love to get some NAge people on there and section off one island or something dedicated to our own area. Please let me know!

    I love minecraft, but don't have a PC running that plays it well enough right now. I'm overdue for an upgrade.

    Bummer! I wish our laptop would play it so my wife could try I expected it to be less taxing considering the 8-bittiness of it, but there's a ton of shit going on at a given time in it

    I just downloaded it and spent a few hours digging out the inside of a mountain. Pretty fun game, now if I could just figure out how to do something else......

    make a bed, sleep in it, and that will become your spawn point. make doors to a room so at night the monsters can't get in, and then sleep in your bed and the night will pass

    Ah thanks for the link, I was just searching through the site looking for something just like that. I got distracted by discovering people are building working computers inside the game!

    I play minecraft but I have been playing on a server for a long time now. I don't want to join someone else's world at this point. I wouldn't mind joining a new world though.

    I love Minecraft, but like a few others here, I mostly play on a friend's server.

    If you guys have trouble getting Minecraft to perform well, Ctrl-Alt-Delete to your Task Manager, and increase your java process to either Real-Time or High.

    I'm pretty new to minecraft and haven't done any multiplayer, so I'm definitely interested if my computer can handle it. I'd be totally down for entering your world to help gather materials/ make stuff/ dick around.



    I'm running Minecraft on OSX 10.4.11, and I have to run the game with render distance 'normal' for it to work (it doesn't completely crash on 'far', but it freezes up and takes a long time to switch out from it. Sometimes it works for a little bit.). If you think that might work, let's give it a shot.

    Ahh I'll have to try that! Also, yea, where's the NA Minecraft server!!
