    Just guessing, but resident evil 2 was crap, so capcom scrapped it and re-did it from the ground up to became the resident evil 2 we all know and love. I am guessing this is the beta of the crap game that never saw the light of day (except on Playstation Underground 1 (as a viewable demo) I think).

    I'd offer $10. A disc only prototype? It could just be a CDR of a disk image he downloaded.

    Worthless. The 1.5 build code was recompiled by third party coders and pieced together into a whole game a few years ago. I guarentee the cdr I have of it is identical to what this guy is selling.
