zelda 1 no damage sword
so, my character (shithead) and i just blasted thru the first quest. the other day. played thru level one of the second. had a few other games come in. played those over the weekend. picked zelda back up yesterday.
i had just fired up the NES, got about 10 minutes into my game, and could see that it was going to crash. we all know what that looks like right? not wanting to lose my recently aquired power bracelet, i managed to save the game before the nes totally froze. good. 10 minutes of my life saved right? awesome.
upon restarting my game, now my wooden sword is white, and it doesnt seem to kill anything. and its saved that way so its screwed forever. but maybe not. im pretty sure theres a loose heart container that i can snag, and i havent picked up the white sword yet, snagging this will fix the problem and let me finish my 2nd quest with this character, but now i have a fun little mini-quest to go on trying to get a heart and a new sword whilst not being able to kill any monsters. this is a sweet bonus play as far as im concerned.
discuss other lucky glitches.

I was so excited when I found out there was a second quest. Then I was super excited when I finally beat it. Finding all the new location of the levels was quite tedious and fun.
My brain just shorted out trying to determine how something could simultaneously be tedious and fun.
Is the third quest the one with the purple Ganon?
That's the 4th one, sorry.
