Well, I was thinking about getting Famicom converter to play some Famicom games on my NES, but I was just curious if there are any titles that are worthwhile and/or reasonably priced. Thanks!
Well, I do believe that Akumajou Dracula Special: Boku Dracula-kun and Getsufuu Maden are "must plays" of the system, there are also games like Cocoron, Mitsume ga Tooru, Hi No Tori, Makai Island, Kyattou Ninden Teyande and Technos Samurai(and some other Kunio games like the hockey and the basketball one) that are awesome. I have no idea about price tough.
yeah, anything made by technos from the downtown nekketsu/kunio-kun series. theyre pretty much the best games for the system in my opinion. if you like river city ransom/super dodge ball/crashntheboys, there are other games in the series that never made it over here. i just got one in the mail yesterday. i dont speak japaneese and cant read the title so i call it "river city smash bros" 4 players, one screen, fight to the death. awesome.
I'd say Splatterhouse: Wanpaku Graffiti and Holy Diver are two great famicom games as well. I paid around 30 bucks each. Both are hard, but fun as well.
Thanks for all the suggestions! I'll have to check all of them out on YouTube tonight. And then get really sad because they're all too expensive on eBay.

why not just get the reproductions translated into engrish
Why not get reproductions for all the games, or why not just download and play them on the computer, or on powerpak?

Sometimes they aren't translated and sometimes it would be cheaper to buy the original.

there's a number of others that i can't think of right now, but check these out to start.
and yeah, i'd recommend a PowerPak.
