Looking for a game with two mechanics
Hey all.
This is something I'm wondering about: Does anyone know if there exists a 2-D platformer game that has BOTH of these mechanics in it: A double or multi-jump ability for the player AND springs.
I wanted to study how they handle things like this as I'm curious of how it could work.
If anyone knows of any such game, please let me know.

I have a few in mind, but only one qualifies for both. Did Commander Keen not have some spring loaded sneakers to bounce around in while popping alien invaders? I just remember some yellow shoes, green stripes and springs on them for high jumping and stuff.
Commander Keen used a pogo stick.
The spring acts like the first jump and the following jumps would handle like normal with no inertia carrying over. So once the player hits the jump button again, velocity drops to zero or whatever the gravity is, and it goes on as if it was a normal double jump.
Edit: The only thing I can think of close to it is maybe Sonic 3 and/or Sonic & Knuckles when Sonic has the Lightning power-up.
Hmm... Can't think of any games, but I would figure the mechanic would handle something like:

That's what I'd think, too.

No, there won't be any springs in this. I'm just making a note for a future reference.
