What I brought home from the Campout

Ok, so I know there are already a few "Campout Haul" threads, but I had to start a separate one for myself.

I'll start out with games I purchased either from members before hand and they brought them, or games I purchased at the various game stores in the area.

Next are my Accessory pick ups:

I purchased the test jig from Otto (limbofunk) a little over a year ago.  I finally got it!
The Power Pad was purchased from Deniz (supernesman) for a very fair price along with another piece that was for someone else.  The Game Preservers and the Carrying Case were given to me by Dain.  Thanks so much man!

Next up, Other items given to me by various members:

Movies and Doc's System Cleaner given to me by Katherine and Steve (Bella and Ozzman)

Desert Commander given to me by Paul himself

Times of Lore given to me by  Charlie (shipwrecked)

Castilian and Power Punch II given to me by Rob (Roth)

Paperboy 2, Thunder and Lightening, Barbie, and Galaxy 5000 given to me by Justin (Penguin)

Finally, the beautiful Legend of Zelda box...  This thing WAS one of the mintiest items I've ever held in my hand.  Matt (extremegamer) was awesome enough to give this to me free of charge.  I had it in my trunk, and I didn't have anything rigid to store it in, so I put it in the box protector and hid it under a package of napkins.  Something must have hit it pretty hard and it dented in the top of the box right above the window.  I was so bummed when I found it.  Now that I look at it, it's not that bad, but it still sucks to ruin such a beautiful box

Last, but certainly not least is the thing that nearly brought me to tears.

My new best friend and man crush, Brian aka B.A., showed up and told me he had something for me.  Thinking it wasn't much at all, I walked over to him.  He pulled this beauty out from behind his back.  I couldn't believe it.  Many of you may remember a few weeks ago when I posted an auction for an item like this.  Brian actually contacted the seller after the auction ended without any bidders, and purchased it for me.  Brian, I told you time and time again at the campout, but I feel like I could never thank you enough.  Thank you so much buddy!

  • The best pickup was "Spies Like Us" for sure!

I disagree I am going to go with Predator loose cart!
  • Always nice to see people filling the gaps in their collection. I still have quite a gap to fill, though, and I see plenty uncommon carts at a new game store.
  • Pretty sweet to get a free boxed toploader. Way to go BA!

    Ohhhh snap, MotherBrain strikes again!
  • I'm sorry, I suck
  • You did by him that awesome A-Team van toy though. You got some nice stuff. It was great meeting you at the campout. You are a really great guy, as demonstrated by the fact of B_A giving you the NES without expecting anything in return except of course manlove, lol
  • Thanks Jobber. It was awesome meeting you too man. Oh, and yeah, a little birdie told me that there was a certain van left in Tennessee...
  • nice scores, finding the paper around the carry case is tuff

Yeah that was Jobber's fault, he packed everything!  Well I will just have a reason to go back now.
  • Darn. I paid $100 for my NES Top-loading unit, and that was without the box.
  • This one is special, if you notice. It is a CIB Toploader WITH the Dr. Mario Pack-in. Tell me when you've ever even SEEN another one of those
