Small Goodwill find

well my find isn't buying NES games at goodwill (even though there were some there but very commons found easily) but there has been other things i've been looking for while at goodwills. Well yesterday i finally found one....a stand alone DVD recorder. Big deal right? but i've been looking for one of these since i didn't want to spend $100+ on a new one at walmart.

I wanted to use one for gameplay recording from consoles. 

Well here it is....It was a risk but for only $7 for a fully functioning unit you cant beat it! It actually works! except the dvd drive has a fantom opening the disc drawer even though its off..

Its an Ilo walmart brand...kinda like durabrand.

I bought a Pioneer DVD recorder when they first came out. It was like $700! Still have it and it works good.

Nice find! I fixed the door on my parent's dvd recorder, they are a pretty easy fix, the timing belt on it is just probably a bit off.

You know, honestly, I didn't even know there was such a thing as a DVD Recorder. Haha. But nice find, definitely worth $7.

awesome find. I dont get why people spend alot on dvd recorders though when you can buy an hd pvr which is the best cap card and you can also use as a tivo.

I also found a non-video game find. It was a D-Link DIR-655 wireless modem for $4.99. These bad boys sell on Amazon for $60 and are perfect for gaming. Sadly it's missing the 3 antennas on the back and the power cord. I hope to find those soon, if anyone has some spare D-Link antennas/power cord I'd love to buy them from you.

I used to have a standalone recorder, and made a lot of discs. Now I just buy DVD players with DivX, or MP4 playback. 6 movies on a DVD. That's how to archive! Nice score though. You're 100% correct, it was worth a $7 gamble, on the chance it did work.
