So I got my copy a day early here in Europe. Anyone else playing this? I made it to lord jabu jabu already
Link's character model looks a bit weird but overall the game's a pretty good port.
Can't register it on nintendo.nl yet though since they're down for maintanence :-/

    I'm with ya samaron. I never owned an N64, so I never had the opportunity to play it. I have mine on pre order, and it hits shelves on the 19th here. Very excited!

    I'm in the same boat, I've only barely played this on the N64. For some reason I didn't really get into the Zelda series until the early 2000's. So I can't wait to check most of it out for the first time.

    Waiting impatiently for Sunday so I can go pick mine up. Me and my speedrun friends have been throwing around ideas to people that have the game already for glitches/shortcuts/timesavers:











    The game should be beatable in like 4 hours or less in no time .

    Have fun guys that have never played it before. I still only played it through once back at Christmas of 96 (97?) but it was one of the most amazing video game experiences I remember. I'm sure it will withstand the test of time and be just as good now.

    hmm. I've never played it either and I have a shiny new 3ds... stuck in the postal strike but coming soon. So this will be the perfect game to check out, looking forward to it

    OOT was one of my favourite games growing up, the 3DS re-make was great too.



    I really hope they do MM as well.

    Great time to buy a 3DS in general. A buddy of mine who is the manager of a local game store made it to E3 and he said that all the 3DS stuff that's coming out soon that he saw was just unreal.

    Had little interest in the 3DS until I saw this. Also, the new Mario game looks amazing (yeah tanooki suit)! I'm currently playing OoT for the billionth time on the N64, but I still really want to get a 3DS and check out the updated visuals and spot the additions. I have to say, my OoT addiction runs pretty deep.



    Keep us updated on your thoughts about the game! I'm interested to hear peoples thoughts and experiences with it (both for those that are playing for the first time and those that have rocked it many times).

    I bought a copy of the game primarily for my zelda collection (thats right, i dont own a 3DS, yet...). It is currently burning a hole in the rest of my collection... I think i will cave in soon and buy a 3DS...

    My opinion...its pretty! I was also happy to score a 25th aniv. soundtrack. The next big game I'm looking forward to is Snake Eater 3D.

    Honestly, it is the best looking 3DS game available. The 3D effect is the best they've done so far. I love using the system's gyroscope to look around in first person. I find myself enjoying this version more than the N64 one, to be honest. The circle pad isn't my first choice for control (I'd rather use an analog stick), but it gets the job done.
